   Have to be brutally honest, visited this place last weekend after races and was quiet disappointed. The doorman was quite off putting on entry but we skipped past that and entered on in. The service wasn’t relatively fast but the drink we ordered was completely wrong. We asked for an exchange and the man behind the bar seemed almost offended, we weren’t trying to come across as difficult but apologise if we were. We were told we’d have to pay again for the original drink we ordered so I finished my pint and moved on. Despite my experience I can still see the value of this bar and hopefully in the future we’ll try again and hope for a different experience.

   We had bottomless brunch here, 5 girls, and we absolutely loved it!! We had harleen and Kadie as waiters and they were so lovely! We also had a guest that had a cheese allergy and all the staff catered so well for her. I couldn’t recommend bottomless brunch here enough!! Some of us had 8 drinks!! Thank you so much red door ❤️

   Visited the new venue on St John Street in Chester and it was great, big and bright. A huge improvement, very open and welcoming. We were served by Shaf, he was lovely. Asked if we had any questions about the menu and cocktails and was very knowledgeable. He was very friendly and chatty, a credit to the place. We will definitely visit again.

   I couldn’t emphasises the fact that one star isn’t low enough. After attending a lovely day out in Chester with my organisation we decided to come to red door before heading out. The bouncers are narcissistic bully’s looking for any girl with a pulse. One of our staff members who is a young male was bullied out of the toilets after blowing his nose (due to a long winter cold) we are a Christian organisation and didn’t approve of the treatment declaring he was taking illegal substances. We asked for proof and aggression was the answer. The standard of customer service is poor and the bar/security staff are a bunch of hooligans. There was one particular steward/security with a mullet asking individuals for fights. Some dignity and passion wouldn’t go a miss with the staff. If you are looking for a higher class well organised night red door Is the bottom of your list. This is by far the worst experience i have ever received and further action will be taken.

   Good selection of drinks available. Fun place, toilets well maintained. There's stairs to get down tricky for anyone with mobility issues. Dj playing dance music.

   Someone else vomited and I helped, that was enough for me to get kicked out. I was ready to leave peacefully, just wanted to take my purse and go. But they wouldn't let me and I was violently dragged out even though everyone knew I was sober! Manager and bouncer were very rude. Had to wait outside without my money and jacket for no reason. In front of the door someone attacked me and my (female) friends and tried to beat us up. I get the bouncer didn't help because it was outside but there was no need to make fun of me for trying not to get beaten up by some drunk stranger. We politely asked if they could help the drunk guy find home because he could barely stand and the bouncer just made even more fun of me, literally hate this guy. Never ever again!

   Actually one of my guilty pleasures this place. We've ended up here twice after Xmas parties and it never fails to entertain. Small bar but you never really wait that long for drinks. If it's a choice of this place or Rosie's, this place wins every time. The door staff at Rosie's actually tell you to go here instead of there, says a lot!
