Extremely dissatisfied with the service I recently received from the letting agent at Capital Homes. I called the office three times over the last four days, hoping to enquire about potential properties in the area. Eventually I got through to the sole letting agent and he was dismissive, unhelpful and appeared disinterested in my enquiry. This kind of attitude from staff members directly reflects on the reputation of the company. I sincerely hope they take my comments and experiences into account to ensure such behaviour is not tolerated in the future. The lady that answered the phone was very nice although unable to assist me further.
A very good service provided by Benga in regards to renting a property. All the information and instructions were clear, communication was great (always picked up a phone and/or called back), answered all the questions in a timely and professional manner. No hidden surprises on the way and I found Benga to be very honest in managing expectations and explaining the conditions of the rent. Check in was easy and some minor issues are in the process of rectifying at this stage. Very polite, professional maintenance team. So far so good. Would definitely recommend. May be one more important comment for potential tenants: Note that the referencing is done by an external agent which made VERY extensive checks in regards to employment status and history (even contacted a company in Ukraine to confirm the employment!). So be prepared and make sure you check your credit history and the conditions for references. Not sure why some people complained about the deposit not being returned. The deposit was actually a one week payment which would have been taken off the payment once the referencing is done. It was clear from the correspondence that this would have been non refundable if references didn't clear through a third party.

My experience with Capital Homes was good and the sales person whom Luke found a quick buyer but it was share of freehold so other shareholders consent if sale was delayed the sale procedure. Also the buyer had a second lawyer to change and the whole sale took a year. My experience with share of freehold always get a consent before you put in the market, another experience is that I had this flat for investment purpose so if the buyer was a first time buyer we would have couple of thousand knocked down from the Capital Gain Tax. But overall it was very hard journey but we insisted and determined to complete the sale so Thank you Luke to go through this challenging journey.
Andrew worked very hard to get this shop for us and through the entire process he was very responsive , answered any of my million questions promptly and most importantly liaised with the landlord to achieve a good result quickly . I will definitely recommend and we already start looking for another property with Andrew - thank you !
