   My wife and I had an offer accepted for a property which had a private patio advertised. The same fact was reiterated at the viewing. Less than 2 weeks before our move, there were considerable delays in getting the contract signed and we were informed that we couldn’t install locks at the gated entrance to the patio and the property because it was in fact a communal patio and not a private patio. We withdrew the offer and thankfully got the full refund for the rent and deposit when Jodi stepped in who was the only person helpful and prompt with her responses at the agency. As a result, we were put in an awkward position of requesting our notice back from our current landlord 3 weeks into giving notice. We have been renting through various agencies such as Folio, Winkworth and Dexters for the past several years but this was by far the worst experience we have ever had.
