   Great pet shop with a wide range of products for your pets/furry friends. Very helpful and if you need anything the friendly staff are on hand to help. I needed to order in a specific type of food for my dog and Two by Two was the only pet store that could get it in so a big thank you to the staff and manager for your help. Five star plus

   DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PET STORE!! TWO BY TWO MERRY HILL. I don’t usually make posts like this at all but this absolutely broke my heart as I’d already completely fallen in love with this bird. My boyfriend brought me a cockatiel from here on Sunday 13th April, the bird looked quite weak and was staying at the bottom of the cage when we first had him but we thought he might just be scared. After training him to step up by Wednesday we noticed something wrong with his foot and he wasn’t scared anymore just fatigued and clearly unwell. I called the shop on Wednesday to say I don’t want to return him but would you be able to help (with vet bills ect) as he was sick when purchased. They said (very rudely) there is nothing they can do unless we want to refund him, meaning they won’t help in any way and it was up to me for the vet situation. I got him registered at a vets and the confirmation for that registration was on Thursday so I was going to book him an appointment but unfortunately found him dead on Friday morning. Went back into the shop for them to say ‘You should have said and we would have helped with vet bills…’ Like I didn’t ask for exactly that when I phoned up. It was the manager in store who told us about the vet bills but when I phoned it was a women who was very rude and insisted there was absolutely nothing they could do. They sold us a very unwell bird and didn’t want to help till it was too late. They were rude in general and they did give a refund but it won’t make up for the loss and how they have treated us. To be told absolutely no help would be given over the phone and then blamed for not taking him in because they would have ‘sorted the vet bills no matter the cost’ when he’s already dead is absolutely disgusting

   Love coming here to see the animals and pick up treats for my bird. There's a wide variety and the animals being sold here all look happy and healthy. Unfortunately a bit too pricey for purchase though!

   I bought a sailfin pleco from this shop a couple of weeks ago, the fish died and today I have noticed my yo-yo loaches scratching. My yo-yo loaches and cherry barbs have white spot! I have never had white spot in my tank before. Absolutely fuming that the pleco/water from Two By Two has infected my whole tank. Will not be buying from here again!

   I went to buy a reptile heat bulb. The employee handled it with bare hands at the counter, to test it was working. Bulbs should not have skin oils transmitted onto them as it reduces their shelf life. The employee did not take on board my concerns because " he'd never heard of that before" . I felt he was rude. So I refused to buy the bulb.

   Would recommend after my experience today:) Fairly priced , however the animals were a tad expensive. The man who helped was very knowledgeable and was more than willing to help. Really friendly too. Thank you very much!
