This is an outstanding place. You really feel like watching movies at home.

Absolutely terrible experience today. Made a journey to come down and visit the studios to be greeted with hostility and passive aggressive behaviour. She made it seem as though we were unwanted and made very rude remarks which made me extremely uncomfortable. I’m not sure where it stemmed from but ultimately we were made so uncomfortable we left within 10 mins. Honestly wouldn’t recommend unless it is necessary for you to visit. So disappointed

A quirky, charming and fragrant (honestly, it smells great!) cultural hub for film, music, theatre and more. Right on the Thames and close to several rather nice pubs.

The Tuesday night Film club at Sands Films Studio has to be one of the screening events of the week in the whole of London. It’s been running since 2005 & the films are shown in the most atmospheric cinema setting. But more importantly the choice of films screened are some of the best.

Such an incredible, unique and creative space! Showing fascinating films, amazing events and creating beautiful costumes.

Mayflower crew watched a theatre play here, before getting a drink at the pub opposite and then sailing to America

What an amazing place! We were kindly invited in and given a tour by Neale last month and found it all extremely interesting. We’d never heard of Sands films before and the studios and facilities were a real eye opener. Thanks for such a welcome - definitely 5 stars.

A very unique, quirky, whimsical place to visit! situated near the Brunel Museum & Mayflower & Ship pubs. Very close to the Thames river. 2 minute walk from Rotherhithe overground station. Its a very old warehouse-like an Aladdins cave & many stage props everywhere & paintings, statues, costumes (made for recent films-Little Women etc) Even the loos are lovingly decorated & homely! People are very friendly & welcoming. A film showing area-with armchairs & sofas on a graduated floor. Stage & theatre area up stairs. They make films there too. Give a donation at the Film night & other events are on most evenings. Like a little oasis... :-):-):-) β˜…β˜†β˜…β˜†β˜…β™₯

Came here on an open doors day and got a guided tour of the studios. Fantastic tour given by 3 members of the studio talking about the making costumes, making props and personally found most interesting the talk by Olivier about integrated film production. The tour includes a chance to visit the costume store, prop making workshop, a theatre as well as the library/archives of the studios. Fantastic
