   I took my project Range Rover Sport to Jon for Turbo’s, as it transpired the engine itself was damaged too. Jon kindly worked getting a replacement engine and fitted it to the car. Jon also fitted new ACE pipes and suspension arms while the body was off. This was all fitted in as additional work around his other bookings quickly and efficiently (cheers for the long hours Jon). Since I have recommended Jon to 2 neighbours, who are both happy with the work, one a Discovery Sport, the other another Range Rover Project. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jon and I will be back when the time comes for another build! During all this, Jon has expanded his workshop and team, with turnaround even faster now! Overall, Jon will cater for pretty much every need, from dropping it off to picking it up fixed, or a step by step itemised project. Price for each job was more than reasonable too. Picture below is from one the the updates in the project! Big thanks to Jon, Jo and Zach, hope you guys all have a great Christmas.

   A terrible experience at this garage and trying to pass off a genuine review as a scam is despicable, you cannot behave that way and try to lie your way out of it. I witnessed John shout, swear at, and threaten my husband in front of our three children after he questioned what seemed to be a misdiagnosis. My husband was originally told a coolant leak was caused by a faulty intercooler, but 5 days later coincidentally a hose burst and another specialist later identified the real issue immediately from a photo—something John couldn’t do after multiple attempts. When we returned to collect the car, John tried to add an extra £120 for a diagnosis he’d already done (incorrectly) and we had paid for previously, when my husband raised this, John became aggressive and abusive. My husband paid just to get our family away from the situation. The misdiagnosis was concerning, but the behaviour—shouting, swearing, and threatening a customer in front of his wife and children was unacceptable. I strongly advise avoiding this garage.

   ​I cannot thank Jon at Mersey Discovery 4x4 enough. He resolved a major recurring fault that the main dealer (Land Rover Chester) failed to fix over a period of 130 days. After Land Rover replaced the wrong parts (costing over £4,000) and then tried to charge £3,000 for a wiring loom, Mersey Discovery correctly diagnosed the issue and completed the repair within three hours for a fraction of the dealer's price. Demonstrated expertise and professionalism, highly recommend!
