I was pleasantly surprised. It appears that, not all the staff are miserable. The shoe dept as you enter, is the place to be. You can grab a serious bargain & it appears this is where all the approachable & friendly staff work. Overall, it was a pleasant shopping experience.
It's like a labyrinth with no order to things, trying to find helpful staff is like trying to find your way out!!
My son absolutely loved it here playing on pcs.. however there was a male staff member who was very patronisong and quite rude he upset my 10 year old by saying something and now he doesnt want to come back after i purchased a monthy ultimated pass i was very upset but at the time i didnt want to cause a scene so we left.
Picked up some items my son wanted. Got told I could not use a rewards card to collect points as they had updated their tills? So, not only could I not collect points, but I couldn't use them either. And the point of a 'loyalty reward' card is?? Person behind counter didn't know (or really care) when I asked about it. They do a pay-monthly version, which I don't use, fortunately. Imagine paying for the privilege of not being able to use it!?!

Big shop, loads of sports gear , reasonably priced, game shop up stairs if your looking for ps5 or xbox console.

I had a really low opinion of game when it was located at the place photographed. It has now moved to upstairs in sports direct queens Square. What they have done with the limited space is awesome especially with the belong gaming arena game have really put them self's back in the game.
Fantastic new location inside the new Sports Direct and the inclusion of the Belong Gaming Arena is brilliant for the town! Friendly and helpful staff that you can tell are gamers themselves, made me feel welcome and will be back again!
I took my sons in to buy games for their Xbox this week, I’m no gamer by any stretch! We picked up what we thought was the Fortnite game and a few others. When we went to the till the really helpful sales assistant confirmed what we were buying, which was actually an add on pack. She explained how to download the game and we bought all of the other things. We will definitely be going back, it’s now the boys favourite shop and if you’re a bit like me and not a gamer, they’re more than willing to take the time and explain things. I’d highly recommend them and especially the lady that served me.
