   If you miss summer and have a need for Tapas in the middle of winter, this is definitely a great place for it :) 1) the service: Henty and Delia were very attentive and friendly! 2) the food: Garlic flatbread (excellently buttery), pan con tomate (actually packing loads of flavourful tomato), prawns (felt fresh and juicy), octopus (very fun presentation), patatas bravas (I think with manchego cheese on top), duck (perfectly cooked and nice jus) and broccoli tempura (also delicious). The dessert was a highlight and definitely one of the nicest I've had lately: blood orange tart & sorbet! So delicate, yet so full of flavour. Drinks: we had white, on the cheaper side, but still good quality. At £50 per person for 3 tapas each, a glass of wine and shared dessert, it is probably on the more expensive side, but definitely worth it, as the service and food/drinks quality are extremely good :)

   Opera Tavern hooked us up for a last minute Christmas Party! Gabby took care of us and I can only describe her in one word…heroic! She didn’t just handle a complex order from 10 people from 5 different countries - she handled the vibe. In fact, she was the vibe! I mentioned that it would be cool to have those paper Christmas crowns… minutes later ….BAM! Like a Slovakian David Blaine 10 Christmas poppers appear out of nowhere! The food was incredible and the menu had so many great options. Like a Nepalese Sherpa Gabby guided us to the summit of a culinary adventure. The plates were perfect for sharing and simply delicious….prawns, croquettes, the mini burger, ox cheeks, crispy broccoli,.. it was all incredible! Lots of vegetarian options to if you’re into that sort of thing. Back to Gabby - I thought she was just a waitress and part time magician … didn’t know she was a videographer! She took amazing photos and videos just capturing the mood so perfectly …it would make Scorsese tear. After dinner I phoned my pregnant wife back home in American and said ay look… the name Gabby is now on the table. Anyway you should go to Opera Tavern. This was review not written by AI… just a guy from New Jersey that had a great time at Opera Tavern.

   We redeemed our Groupon voucher this afternoon and had a great meal. Aaron was attentive and made us feel really looked after during our dining there. The lady was also great ( sorry we didn't get your name! ) The food was fantastic and there were no complaints. Would come again!

   The food we great and the location is in a fun neighborhood of London. There was a possibly Italian waitress who was amazing and so were Jose, Monica, and Delia. Honestly, the entire floor team was top notch and working together like an engine.

   We came here for dinner on a Saturday before an evening performance. We loved the atmosphere and found the staff very welcoming. The food was nice enough but nothing really stood out as spectacular except the fried courgettes. It’s obvious the food is fresh and it was all prepared beautifully. The wine we had was delicious and fairly reasonable at £19 for a bottle. Nothing was bad, it just didn’t blow us away like we were hoping.

   We were seeing a matinee, and this was around the corner from the theater. We slipped in for a quick bite and were very pleasantly surprised. Spanish and Italian tapas and wine are served in a chic ambience and a warm setting. Octopus was tender and served on top of black rice cooked in squid sauce. It was excellent. Wines are served by the glass or by the bottle. This was a very nice find directly across the street from the royal theater.

   The food was really nice. Small plates / med tapas kind of vibes. Had mostly veggie plus some meat and fish. Stand outs were the courgette, hake, and burrata. Tiny downside is that the alcohol seemed ever so slightly over priced compared to average for the area.

   Wonderful Spanish tapas in this unsuspecting looking pub in Covent Garden! The menu is very inviting, some really interesting ingredient pairings and great sounding dishes. Overall the food was delicious, exactly how I'd expect Spanish type tapas to be cooked. The seafood dishes are the stars of the show here, really fresh tasting dishes and beautifully cooked seafood. Would highly recommend the chargrilled octopus which was my favourite dish and the roasted Jerusalem artichokes vegetable dish - both fantatsic. Only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is that a couple of dishes just lacked a bit of flavour. The sea bream ceviche I would have expected to have bit more zing/citrus to bring the dish alive and the barbary duck breast was a bit tough and lacked seasoning, the duck leg pancake however was absolutely delicous! Desserts were great, and would highly recommend the pistachio doughnuts and ricotta cream, so damn good and moorish! The staff and service were fantastic, really friendly staff with a great atmosphere in the room. Will definitely come back to try the other dishes on the menu.
