Attended a birthday party, there was a good selection of drinks and really nice food. The staff were attentive and the service great. Will recommend!
Great time at psychic night despite one or two guests clearly being haunted by their own misery, with one especially rude to the medium. The shish kebabs were tasty and well presented. I couldn't comment on the other dishes as I didn't try them.
Coffee was good. Eggs benedict not so good. Poached eggs were hard and the hollandaise was more like mayonnaise and only a teaspoon or two. Left unimpressed.
I came to visit my Mum on Mother's Day and bought her to The Cracked Teapot for afternoon tea which I had booked in advance. We both thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the food and drinks were amazing and the staff were extremely friendly. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back when I visit again!
Came for mother's day afternoon tea. The service was very poor. The food was OK but presentation not good . We were given glass mugs and a pot of tea. We were surprised to be charged extra for more tea at £2 per cup. I was expecting China tea cups and cake stands which is usual for afternoon tea. We gad to ask for knives, serviettes, plates and sugar. Bit disappointing and not special at all. The food was nice and there was plenty.

Had a cracking (pardon the pun) experience at the Cracked Teapot. I had the Teapot breakfast and my work colleague had the Scottish salmon with scrambled eggs. For the cost, presentation and most importantly quantity of the food was amazing. I strongly recommend a visit while in Barnsley. I’ll also be trying the cocktails on my next visit, as they looked amazing (photos on Facebook) and I’ll be trying one or five on my next visit. Stunning, classy, friendly staff, 5star food, not bad music. A must visit.
