I have taken both the CPD and longer training with WPF. The courses are delivered by professionals who share insight and wisdom. The CPD is engaging, thought provoking and I highly recommend them.

I have attended many CPD/training courses with WPF and they are always very well organised and cover relevant topics. Massively helpful in my private practice.

I feel very sorry for people who have had bad experiences. My own experience was nothing but positive. I started seeing a therapist here about a year ago. She was very skilled and has made a huge difference. Unfortunately she had to end our therapy abruptly recently, but this would have been for a very good reason, and WPF offered me another therapist but I feel now that I no longer need help. I will definitely return there if I want or need help in future.

After some traumatic events including with my landlord I became very severely depressed. I turned to WPF for help. The assessment I received was insightful and I was provided with a good therapist. The very severe depression began to lift. Therefore my therapeutic experience has been a good one. However, I agree with some of the comments here about WPF's policies and management that are imho less than ideal. The assessor decided that I needed open-ended therapy, and he was right. I asked for an experienced therapist. Some time into therapy I discover that therapy with an experienced therapist can only be for one year - WPF policy and no exceptions or flexibility. Consequently therapy ended and I wasn't anywhere near ready. I'm not sure those managing WPF have a good handle on the therapeutic process. There seems to be a disparity between the therapists and the WPF business.

I can't speak for other reviewers' experiences but I've seen a lot of progress in my one-on-one therapy sessions here. There's a lot of care involved, and the experience has worked both to target deeper issues and to alleviate current ones. Personally I'm not a fan of WPF's policy on cancelling appointments (no amount of notice suffices, you pay either way) but I understand it's a small practice - and on the money side it's extremely helpful that they scale their costs depending on your wages.

I'm astonished by the negativity of some of these reviews. I have had two extremely good therapists here. The first had to leave after about 8 months for personal reasons (I think an illness in the family), and I am still in therapy with the second therapist who is highly skilled and experienced, as well as being compassionate and caring. WPF has a sliding scale of fees, which make it affordable for almost everyone, are located in the heart of London Bridge, and have a very good reputation. They are a training institute, but that is not a secret, and all those attending who left negative reviews would have been informed of that by WPF. It is hard for me not to conclude that the people leaving them were doing a bit of projecting...

Absolutely awful experience. I have never known anything like it and I have 2 very successful therapy experiences in my life prior to this. The person who mentioned the rooms sparse and unwelcoming nailed it. It's like a carousal of clients coming and going and you're just one of the 'cattle' coming in and out. The way the therapists sidle out on the hour is like people entering a church .....very unwelcoming and almost like you're going to confession. I would never trust these people with my therapy. They are now all about the money and I feel for the people who have settled for this option. The therapist was 'odd'. Sat looking at me at the start, no welcome, no introduction and braked HARD halfway through the session to carry out formalities. Read your T&Cs very carefully. They only allow you 2 days off per year (2 weeks) and the rest of the time you have to be there or pay!! You need to give 6 weeks notice for holiday and 4 weeks notice period where no doubt they will try and get you to extend as long as ossicle. This service is geared to money and business .....it's the first time I have seen what big therapy services seem to be turning into. Scary!! Not for me ......
