   Francis brings extensive experience and a deep passion for acting to his teaching, leading my 10-week Autumn Thursday (AH1) class with training in the techniques of Stanislavski, Meisner, and Uta Hagen. The Thursday class also benefited from dynamic workshops with leading guest tutors: Mark Rice-Oxley (voice, movement, Uta Hagen, and Shakespeare), Dr David Escobedo (improv), and Eithne Browne (character development). Over the term, our class worked on contemporary duologues, beat poetry with music, and Shakespeare — one of the duologue scenes was professionally filmed by in-house cinematographer Alexander Blackburn. NWEAS classes are supportive and engaging, fostering a strong ensemble spirit, with students often continuing their training together in successive terms.

Everyone is so supportive - tutors, guest tutors, and fellow classmates. You couldn’t ask for a better learning space! I’m so glad I started with North West End Acting School. The supportive and nurturing tuition has really boosted her confidence and given her the opportunity to work alongside professional actors and students towards presenting a production of a very high standard in the space of a week!
