SAE has been an incredible learning journey for my daughter, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment she enrolled, the staff made her feel welcome and supported, creating an environment where she feels motivated to excel. The curriculum is top-notch, challenging her academically while also encouraging creativity and critical thinking. The teachers are passionate and dedicated, going above and beyond to ensure every student succeeds. The facilities are modern and well-equipped, providing a conducive learning environment. My daughter has thrived at SAE, and her happiness and growth speak volumes. I highly recommend SAE to any parent looking for a nurturing and enriching educational experience for their child.

Re-posting this review as SAE Liverpool is closing my student email account down and wanted my review to stay up. Hi My names Thomas Hunter and I completed an Audio Production degree mainly during Covid. We had an initial 3 months of doing a normal course, but then it went to a mixture of online and on campus learning after that. Its a fair comment to make that universities specialising in on-campus learning struggled with the online teaching/learning concept as it is not something they have ever specialised in and SAE Liverpool was no different in this respect. I learned the most off the people teaching me who had had real world experience within the industry. Their more abbreviated advice was utter gold, from the likes of Jon Withnall, Duncan, Martin Kuchta, Mike Cave & Matthew Chapman. The front of house girls of Kelsey & Dayana were also very helpful on the course, as was Alex Hannah - who is an absolute legend by the way who can work minor miracles on a daily basis. A special human being indeed ! Thank you mate. The course taught me all the rules of many aspects of music, but in the end I realised you have to break away from these rules if you want to create your own unique sound. It is defo another fair comment to make that this course absolutely is not made to cater for Jungle or DnB in my opinion, as I did not learn a single thing from the uni about these genres until I spoke with my facilitator for my dissertation in Matthew Chapman. That is not to say I did not learn transferrable skills to be used within jungle, but I have to say I did not learn one single thing about it on this music course. Course highlights where; Live Sound with Martin Kuchta Mixing with Jon Withnall Mastering a track with Mike Cave in Loft Studios Lunch time lecture theatre sessions with Alex Hannah Course lowlights where; Sitting through boring slideshow class presentations with teachers Course going online Having to fight for everything you want out of the course One bit of advice I can give if anyone wants to do this course is this: Make sure you ask questions. Lots of questions. As you where, Tommy

Amazing institue for Professionals The lectures, teachers and staffs are very professional, friendly and keen to help you. The Directors are very humble and organized. Unlike John mores university here in SAE I can feel I am accepted as a student not just for filling the chair SAE is Highly recommended and you regret if you are not studying here.

SAE Liverpool was originally on the dock front, where the studio rooms were considerably better equipped. The intake of student increased considerably and to accommodate the extra students this next building was set up in place of the original. The studio rooms are built around aesthetic appeal as opposed to sound and functionality and many of the studio production techniques are for outdated recording styles. It's worth noting that if you are seeking a career in the audio industry however, that the techniques learned here will certainly help in all aspects of recording. Unfortunately, while the course did teach me a lot, employers no longer look favorably on an SAE qualification. I qualified with a first class degree and have yet to find work in the industry. Couldn't fault the staff there as they are helpful and friendly. Sadly, the cost of the qualification has also increased. When I signed up in 2013 the course fees were roughly £6000 with a free Apple Macbook included, the course costs have shot up since then so I would argue this is no longer an attractive arrangement. Graduation takes places in London as opposed to Liverpool, which may price some out of attending their own ceremony.
