   Our experience with this nursery has been deeply distressing. My daughter’s time at this setting has been marked by a series of unacceptable failures regarding her health, safety, and developmental tracking. On numerous occasions, I have picked my daughter up to find her in a heavily soiled nappy that had clearly not been changed for a significant period. The nursery failed to adhere to statutory requirements regarding the Key Person system. My daughter’s developmental observations were consistently performed by an another staff member rather than her assigned practitioner, leading to a total lack of continuity in her early years education. My daughter was involved also in an incident months ago under the nursery's care for which no clear or factual account was ever provided. The management failed to produce an incident report or provide transparency, which is a significant breach of safeguarding duties and parental trust. It is a matter of professional negligence that the staff informed the attending medical professional that they "did not know" how the injury occurred. Under the EYFS framework, they have a statutory duty to supervise children and document all accidents. As a final straw we gave notice until the end of December, meaning 31/12 and they "quietly" sent a no-reply invoice ending her term early on the 29th without telling us. I was informed upon arrival today that her last day was yesterday. This arbitrary change to our contract was communicated with no prior notice, leaving us without childcare and demonstrating a total lack of professional coordination.
