   Me and my boyfriend have been going to Rosie and Geoff’s beginner ballroom and Latin classes on Wednesday evenings for around two months. We were a bit apprehensive about starting the classes as neither of us have ever danced before but Rosie and Geoff were so patient and helped us feel completely comfortable in the class. They break down each step in a way that is understandable and don’t put any pressure on you if you don’t understand it at first, or second, or mostly third in my case! Even as complete beginners, we have never felt out of place. We have now started to pay monthly (which is a really good deal for what you pay for with the quality of teaching) and are planning to go to more classes at the Palace Dance Studio as a result. It is a really great place and all the staff are lovely and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Palace Dance Studio.

   The Palace Dance Studio is a brilliant venue and Phil/Kathryn and the team are so welcoming. The Palace caters for all level of dancer from complete beginners to competitors and everything in between. Both studios are a great size and having danced in studios all over the country, you rarely see any of this size and quality! Phil and Kathryn also host the very best social dance evenings I have been to with wonderful music, bar refreshments, top quality dance shows/demonstrations and always a fun and friendly atmosphere! If you haven’t been already, you need to come to The Palace Dance Studios!

   Such an amazing dance school! Great value, fantastic classes and such a great range for adults and children. My little one absolutely loves the classes and has become much more confident since starting here. The dance shows are great and the room is stunning, especially when decorated. ❤️ I absolutely believe Palace Dance Studios is the best around. The children at the classes are absolutely thriving and enjoying feeling part of something. I cannot recommend enough :)

   Absolutely fantastic dance classes! I have been coming to ballroom & latin classes here for the last 3 years. As a solo dancer I was initially quite apprehensive about joining but I couldn't have been made more welcome! A fantastic team of staff, friendly people and the best way to shake off those Monday blues!

   I do a tai chi class on Wednesday afternoon with Higher Porpoise Tai Chi and really enjoy it. We are in the upstairs dance studio. The facilities are clean and comfortable and Jane, the teacher, makes the session interesting and enjoyable while exercising the body and the mind.

   Phil and Kathryn are professional but friendly. Their classes are great, lots of fun and it’s easy to follow the instructors. There are other social functions for dancers, and sometimes families, to attend. Phil and Kath put on social events and dance breaks too, these events are always well attended, which speaks volumes. The dancers that attend are very friendly and welcoming. The venue has a few rooms but the main ballroom has quite a big floor and has a licensed bar. Rooms can be hired for functions and are big enough for children’s parties etc.

   I'm sad and disappointed because I had been told it was okay to bring a child to sit whilst I attended the Tuesday class/tea dance and many singles go, obviously due to COVID couples don't rotate. Although I've been taking salsa classes at another place and we rotate throughout the night. This is not a local venue for me so I was disappointed to drive all the way here and be turned away. Especially being told that children under 12 are not allowed to watch, when that was never mentioned to me previously and there was even a young child behind the desk playing. Also to be told no singles attend on Tuesday afternoon, when previously stated lots of singles do. Perhaps there was miscommunication somewhere but I won't be back because I'm unable to bring my child. :( I was looking forward to learning sequence dances so I can go to the Blackpool Tower and dance there during a normal day, not for the events organised by this company. I have previously danced ballroom and Latin. Maybe I'll just have to stick to Salsa, where they have no problem having my child there. If anything changes let me know. Thanks.
