We attend here for the BUCKLEY JU-JITSU CLUB on Wednesday & Thursdays. Parking is always a nightmare so arrive extra early as there is always lots going on so spaces come and go quickly
Good place for badminton, but they need double yellows up to the roundabout to prevent lazy morons parking on the road, reducing 2 lanes to 1, when they've 2 car parks to choose from!
Staff are helpful. The Swimming showers have been reduced to 3 out of 5 for almost 5 months. They haven't repaired them yet. So only 2 stars due to the facilities not the staff.
Excellent swimming facilities,, not too crowded as they limit the numbers, good clean warm water in pool, I'm always wary about the chemicals used , but have no worries with Buckley,,, My only real quibble is that only a couple of the showers seemed to be working on my visit,, Apart from that, being a new member, I'm really pleased with the friendly staff and the pool,,,
I've been past it but never went in. My lad had his grades there for taekwon-do. Really great place and friendly staff.
Really good facility swimming pool is one of the best pools around for depth for kids to learn swimming its helped mine massively with her confidence in the water lots of different events on that you can get involved in and the astro turf caters for hockey, football etc
Can't comment much on the leisure centre itself, I just occasionally take my grandson to football training, but the outside artificial pitches are pretty good and well maintained
Really good, we were told to join the local leisure centres to get a discount, we struggled to book online but the wonderful reception staff sorted it in minutes, we went twice in our weeks holiday and felt all the better for it, haven't swum for 2 years, it was lovely xx
I would give a score of 0 if this was an option. Appalling customer service; myself and my wife telephoned and emailed on a number of occasions to book our children into swimming lessons. Unfortunately, we are yet to receive replies. The Manager refuses to answer or return our telephone calls, he's conveniently "on another call". When offered swimming days and times, you assume you'd have the courtesy of allowing us time, when we both work, to receive the call/email and reply, we reply at the earliest convenience, always the same day (unlike the Manager!), but are continually informed that they have been given to someone else. Both of my children have been attending swimming lessons with Aura for 3-4 years. Very disappointed with the unprofessional attitude of management.
