   Hamilton dance Is truly such a lovely dance school. I joined Hamilton dance age 7 with my older sister Olivia. Throughout the years, Anneliese and the team have given us numerous amazing opportunities such as competitions, shows and dance exams. The teachers are incredibly loving and nurturing and they have created an environment where everyone feels welcome and supported. Their personalised approach to teaching, combined with their genuine care for the students has helped me grow both as a dancer and as a person. They go above and beyond every day to provide the best outcomes for each of us making dancing at Hamilton such a wonderful experience. My confidence has grown massively while being here and I wouldn’t be who I am today without these amazing people. Hamilton dance is not just a dance school, it is a family, and it is a family that I am so grateful to be a part of.

   Hamilton Dance is a fantastic dance school. My eldest came to dance aged 12 and spent a couple of years in another dance school, where she was left at the back, making no progress and was made to feel it was too late. When she switched to Hamilton in the January of Y9 I wasn’t expecting her to become like all the rest of the girls who had been there forever, however within months she was part of the Hamilton family, she had been cast in a main role in performing arts show and now, at 16 she’s on pointe and preparing for her Intermediate exam and she has the most beautiful technique. Plus she has the experience of dancing in multiple spectacular shows. It’s not just the dance, it’s the social aspect that’s been brilliant for her confidence. She’s helping out with the infant groups and developed an amazing work ethic and determination. I can’t thank Anneliese and the team enough. They provide an wonderful balance of fun, joy for life, lessons in nutrition, staying healthy in mind and body as a dancer and a work ethic that’s transferable, plus excellent dance technique no matter what stage you start with them. I’m not exaggerating when I say they have helped my child become a wonderful young adult who is brimming with compassion and confidence.

   Both my daughters moved to Hamilton Dance during the pandemic in 2020. We have found the school to be nothing less than supportive and inclusive. One of my daughters is part of the competition team and the other isn’t, which has been completely her choice. The attention that each of them receives is equal and personal to them. They have both made great improvements, and enjoy their classes. The critique received is given in a measured , careful way. One of the best things about Hamilton is performance opportunities. These are opportunities for young people , whether they are in the competition team or not . They learn and perform dances on different stages. We have performed at Alton Towers, Viva Blackpool and Smile It’s Christmas, to name a few. This is so exciting for them, and usually offers a great day out too. My girls performance skills have improved so much! These opportunities are separate to the whole school show and musical theatre show. Hamilton is the only school in the local area which offers RAD Ballet. My youngest daughter is now a Royal Ballet Senior Associate and is entering her 4th year . This is down entirely to Ms Hamilton-Steven’s encouragement, help, and teaching. The faculty are highly trained and the exam results show this. Along side this, they are approachable and genuinely care about the young people they teach. There are lots of exciting activities during the year, film nights, Christmas parties/meals and summer parties. It’s more than a school, it’s a community, which is cultivated by the Principal. Having had experience of another school, the fees are modest in comparison, with costumes often being hired for a small fee, and even being passed down (especially in the competition team). My eldest daughter graduated Hamilton Dance summer 2025 and her experience there has shaped her in nothing but positive ways. I will whole heartedly recommend Hamilton .

   My daughter joined Hamilton at the beginning of this year and takes part in all of the available classes. It’s such a friendly dance school and very welcoming to new students. She has been given numerous opportunities with exams and shows and she also enjoys being part of their competition team. I would highly recommend this dance school, there are classes for all ages and abilities. Thank you so much to Anneliese and all the other teachers for everything you all do xx

   My Daughter has been dancing with Hamilton Dance for 7 years now and she has been provided with the most amazing opportunities; such as multiple dance exams, competition team dancing - Groups and Solos, Competing within prestigious International competitions, multiple shows and showcasing events, Pantomime performances and also her very first paid performance at only 10 years old! The time, effort and attention that each teacher provides is above and beyond! We are very Proud and honoured to be part of the this wonderful Dance school. However the saying " there is far more to dance than dancing " couldn't be anymore accurate! As well as Dance and all the above experiences, being part of Hamilton Dance has taught my daughter an array of transferable life skills such as teamwork, discipline, organisational skills and the ability to accept prise but also critique, Understanding her body it's limitations, when to push but also when to rest and how to correctly fuel her body to achieve her full potential. It's a home away from home and I for one wouldn't trust anyone else as much as I trust Anneliese, Hannah, Laura and team.

   My daughter started dancing with Hamilton Dance when she was 5 years old. She’s been given some of the most amazing opportunities that have allowed her to develop her love for dance and given her such confidence. The friendly and caring atmosphere has created some of the most beautiful friendships where the dancers love for each other shows when they support each other at competitions, shows and exams. The caring and compassionate nature of the teachers along with their passion and expertise shines through and is the heart of the school.

   Both of my daughters (age 15 and 17) dance at Hamilton. They absolutely love dancing and although they've only been at Hamilton a few years, they have made some lovely friends. The classes are age-based so they attend classes with their school friends. They have passed several exams, to a high standard and absolutely love taking part in the dance shows and competitions. I must add, the quality and choreography are excellent. They have attended Zoom classes throughout the lockdown and while this has helped them keep dancing and keep in touch with their teachers and friends, they are desperate to get back to real life classes. Their favourite classes are modern and contemporary. As a parent, I have to add that I find the school ethics to be very good, the children (and parents) are all very well mannered and pleasant, in particular at shows and competitions.

   Training at Hamilton dance has been a godsend to my children, particularly over the past 12 months. It has given them a sense of normality when every other aspect of their lives was disrupted. It kept some structure to their days, gave them a break from the intensity of homeschooling and ensured that they remained active. The quality of teaching at Hamilton is outstanding and the positive focus dance gives them is vital as they navigate their teen years. We can’t wait to get back to face to face classes next term.

   My daughter has attended Hamilton Dance since she was 3 she is now 6 and does ballet, tap and street dance she absolutely loves dancing and has been so happy to continue through lockdown on the Zoom classes. All the teachers are lovely with the children and couldn’t recommend this dance school enough.

   My daughter has been attending this dance school since she was 3 and loves it! They have taken her through ballet, tap, street, acro, limbering, contemporary, jazz and lyrical but offer so much more. A particular highlight was the fantastic show produced last summer The Magic Wardrobe. This showed all levels of dance across the school and was lovely for the little ones to see what they can achieve at Hamilton. Couldn't recommend this school more lovely teachers and mums - not typical dance mums ☺️ Can't wait to see what the future brings.
