The demise and closure of the town centre Boots, mean you have to come here. It has nowhere near the choice or variety. On a positive note, the staff are friendly and there is plenty of on site parking available.
If I could give a zero I would. Needed some cream that is only available over the counter. Went in and didn't see a pharmacy counter. Saw 2 staff who were busy chatting to each other. Finally got their attention and asked about the cream only to be told they don't have a pharmacy counter!! What a joke, I thought boots was a chemist. Absolutely useless store. Found a local chemist elsewhere who were lovely and helpful. Not impressed at all. Why have a boots store with no pharmacy? Waste of my time so dont go there if you need a pharmacy
If I could give 0 stars as an option I would. Twice I’ve been in here now as I couldn’t make it to town, the customer service is shocking. Last time I went in and popped my basket down to retrieve something from the bottom shelf at the shampoo items. I was approached and was told by a guy with black curly hair not to restrict the aisle, which I clearly didn’t as my basket was next to my feet: went in again last week all the self service tills were full and 3 of them needed assistance (errors on screen no one assisted) I went to the cash register where the man again black curly hair serving had just served an elderly man, I placed my items on the till, he walked away with a large lady with blonde hair and glasses, didn’t tell me anything as in I’ll be back or give me a minute, I have manners and I’m patient but didn’t even acknowledge me. he was talking walking up and down the middle of the store, came back to me after 2/3 minutes didn’t speak a word scanned and took the money pushed my items to me, didn’t ask me if I needed a bag or how much it was nothing. Handed my change huffed and walked away. Also was a lady and her daughter waiting for assistance in the ONE self service till that takes cash, he didn’t assist them ignored them and they had to use another till and look for their card also no make up no stock nothing the make up counters are a disgrace all broken dirty and empty everything is messy and unkept and the service is diabolical. Disappointed as I spend alot with boots. Please re train the black haired gentleman as this is the second encounter now with him and he’s made my shopping experience such a negative one. Ended up going into the town centre anyway as this store didn’t have anything in which I needed the most, shut this store down if there’s no stock and rude staff what’s the point of staying open….
Why wife & I called for several items on Friday last week and on duty was Kiran, she was lovely and so helpful and could not have been more so. Well done Kiran we wish you every success in your future life and happiness, it was a joy and so refreshing to be served by someone so full of cheer and care for customer service, as an 81 year old who spent 5O odd years in sales and service much appreciatedt

The pharmacy closed down in April 22, didn't know, the phone option isn't removed so you'll be ringing for nothing on a number that isn't live.
Absolutely shambolic, asked a member of staff where I could find a very simple product, absolutely clueless, couldn't find it, gave up looking , 1 very miserable woman on the tills, long queue of people, constantly followed round by the security guard - really intimidating, he did the same to another customer, he knocked over a POS sign and left it, really negative experience, at a time when money it tight and you are really careful about what are buying, it's a considered purchase, there should be respect for the customers. When I approached the miserable woman on the tills, she ignored my comments, and stated 'he is just doing his job' - well, if his job is to intimate customers into buying less from the shop because of how he makes you feel, then that's a good job done, however, he's a security guard, perhaps he needs a refresher on how he conducts himself?
