Took my dog of 14 yrs in last year with a bad back and my new partner came with me. Not only did the vet refuse to direct his questions and comments to me, even after telling him that she was my dog and my partner wouldn't know anything about her, but he also started talking about "what's best for them can be difficult for us" and "she could go at any day". Before the bad back, she had been 100% fine. He even mentioned something about being prepared to let her go when i took her back for the vaccines! Over a year later and she's still running around like a puppy! I do not trust this man.
I can’t praise Mauro and his staff enough, friendly, professional and unlike some other practices the impression is it’s all about the animals not the money. One of my dogs isn’t the easiest but Mauro has so much patience with her it helps both Holly’s anxiety and mine, I wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else
Always has so much time for you or should I say Bella, shes always happy to go as she gets spoilt rotten with treats and cuddles. all the staff are superb and so attentive. I can't speak highly enough of them.

I have been with VetCare since 2014, when the first practice open in Africa (to support free Rabies vaccinations). I can honestly say that, in this family, all vets aim to give the best possible veterinary care for your much-loved pets treating them as if they are our own. At VetCare Selby, it is important that your dog, cat, rabbit or hamster has a positive experience during their visits. This forms a bond that is essential to us. I find that the main difference here, is that we do spend more time with our pets and have a very relaxed environment that allows us to do clinical examinations almost as if they were at home. With this time we can explain things and have a good communication line with owners, making them part of the decision process. Helping is in our DNA and despite the growing popularity we do not change our commitment to your pet or the level of care.
