Was served by Kath and she was fantastic. Patient, helpful, not at all pushy and would definitely look for her in store to help me again. I was buying my mom a ring as a gift and she didn't really know what she was looking for. Kath was more than happy for my mom to look at and try multiple options which was perfect.
Unfortunately the shop assistant on this occasion was rude and made me feel very anxious and I left the store quite upset by her attitude. I believe her name was Penny or similar For a mature lady I would expect better customer service and a more professional attitude to her customers.
Went in H Samuel Merry Hill for a gold 20 inch curb chain for my husband. All the staff were helpful and especially Kath who was serving me. She made sure I was happy with my selection and was polite and courteous at all times. It’s nice to know that fantastic customer service still exists. Thanks Kath I know if I need anymore jewellery I will not hesitate to come and see you.
I recently visited your store to buy a gold chain as a gift for my son. My husband and I waited for about 20 minutes near the jewellery counter, hoping that someone would come over to help us. Unfortunately, no one approached us or even acknowledged that we were waiting — not even a simple “someone will be with you shortly.” I felt completely ignored, so I decided to leave and place my order online instead. It’s disappointing, as I really wanted to make the purchase in person. I hope this feedback helps improve customer service in the store.
Popped in to look at wedding bands/rings. A lovely member of staff called Penny spoke with us. Her approach and attitude towards me and my future wife made it a lovely experience at the shop. Many thanks Penny from Dave and Sobna. AKA Mrs May!
Very helpful in choosing our wedding rings and the Manager Mark was very helpful in solving an issue we had with my engagement ring. Ellie was also brilliant throughout the process with clear communication and fantastic customer service skills. Thank you Merry Hill team :)

Went into H.Samuels today to look at Wedding Ring our sales assistant was Penny,From start to finish she made our experience very special she was very Attentive, Polite, she is certainly a credit to H Samuel's Merry Hill...
Ellie was absolutely brilliant. I had purchased a replacement wedding ring for my husband for Christmas (back in October) but it didn't fit properly. Within 5 minutes of returning to store with his original ring and the one I had purchased to ask for a resize, she had found the exact size in another store for me and trained a colleague on how to size a ring correctly at the same time. She was polite, friendly and informative, and made my experience easy and simple. Within a few weeks, my husband had his wedding ring back with the perfect fit within plenty of time before Christmas! She is a credit to the store and I will happily return to purchase from her in the future.
