Very helpful, kind and courteous at a difficult time. I’ve been using this vets for years and would go anywhere else.

This veterinary practice is truly outstanding. They’re always accommodating with appointments, and the whole team is warm and welcoming. They take the time to really listen and explain everything clearly, offering a range of treatment options with transparent pricing. They never push unnecessary tests and always guide you toward what’s genuinely best for your pet. The practice is clean, calm, and always so kind to my girl. We’ve been 3 times now (in 4 years) and each visit has been consistently excellent, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pets.

Paid allot of money to have my dog fixed and was told a date for my operation. The operation was not done for 7 days after causing my dog to have the same issues and me being down by almost 200 pound. I would not recommend going as they don't care about the dogs as she lied to us and caused the dog to have another issue by not having the operation. If you love your dog I wouldn't bring them anywhere near. Disgusting that they are a private vets.

I would like to thanks Crooks Vets for their care, patience and support they provided to my family and my beloved dog, Nala. We had to take the difficult decision to put Nala to sleep after she became very unwell, very quickly. Unfortunately there was nothing we could do to save her and we had to say goodbye that day. The vet herself was incredible, as well as the nurses and the reception staff. I’m at peace that she was surrounded by love and care when she fell asleep. I can’t thank you enough. Thank you for the lovely card too. xx

Never really had an issue, until now. My dog required emergency treatment yesterday and all was good. However today, a Saturday, things are again concerning and I needed advice. It seems that Crookes use a service for our-of-hours issues which is basically outsourced to Springfield vets under the name of MiNightVet. What has riled me is that I have just been told “because your dog is not registered with us (Springfield) the consultation will be subject to other charges and fees.” Why?? They clearly have access to the crookes IT system. Get this straight I don’t mind paying a bit more for the service but £200 just for a consultation!! Christ on a bike!! On top of this Crookes are therefore knowingly using a service that basically charges their patients more for the service, thus potentially putting their patients at a disadvantage and possibly greater risk of the help being unaffordable. Ergo the service is possibly detrimental to their patients by sheer nature of the extra charges and fees. So much for caring for all animals equally. Crookes and Springfield need to give their heads a wobble. You’re better off simply being with Springfield in the first place, just in case you ever need emergency advice or treatment.

Thanks to all involved, from reception staff to the medical team. Managed to fit my pet in at short notice while fully booked. Showed genuine concern and gave me confidence he was left In the right hands under worrying circumstances.

Would not recommend bringing your animals here. A few weeks ago I lost my lovely cat. The past few years he regularly attended routine appointments and had procedures that were costly. The most recent check up in May/June was a complete and utter failure, it seems like during these checks up barely anything was checked other than his nails and gums. Looking back the check ups were ineffective in highlighting any issues with my cat. When the nurse brought him out we barley understood what she was saying as she was so quiet. In my view the check up was too quick and not enough examination happened. When we had concerns she reassured us he was fine even though he had a funny turn the week before. She said he was in good health and there were no issues. September this year I had to take him back to the vet due to him not eating and only drinking water. Whilst he was there they couldn't determine what was wrong so a blood test and a booster shot was needed which cost £150. Two days later results back which suggested he had kidney failure, to get a full diagnosis we had to send him to another vet surgery due to Crooks not having the facilities (which is something we have experienced before) to examine him further - at this time we didn't know death was on the cards so soon. At the new vet they found he had two enlarged kidneys which I guess was discovered from them examining him properly as no scans were carried out. How the hell did Crooks not pick up on it?? Due to the severe nature of his kidneys it is very likely he had issues with his kidneys for a while however Crooks did not pick up on it. The new vet surgery was baffled. At Crooks all you seem to do is spend. November - £300 for a teeth removal which was a success however weirdly a few weeks after the op he developed black marks on his nose. I believe he didn't received the proper care and as a result passed away. Would not come here again !!!!! Healthy pet club = a scam
