   We booked to stay at lime fitt park 29.12 25 We arrived at 4pm as per guidelines. The info sent said that reception closes at 5.30 and if we arrived after that time we could access a fob for the barrier. However reception was closed at 4 pm Neither could we access the spare fob There were 2 other parties attempting to gain access. We could have walked to the accommodation but being in our 60s and it being dark we felt it wasn't safe. Eventually another party turned up with a fob and let us in. You need to give accurate information about ac sessions g the park.

   We rented 5 lodges as big family holiday. Each lodge we stayed at was not as describe. But one was extremely miss leading. There was numerous H&S issues (massive hole in the decking) and cleaning issuesppAs well as the washing machine/ dishwasher/ hoover / toaster broken or missing. This wouldn’t be a problem if was dealt with. But we was told that they are just a booking agent - was told this continuously. But they wouldn’t give the lodges owners details to raise the issues. We asked to be moved but again. They are just a booking agent and the owners refused. Personally would not book through Lake District lodges again. As if you are unlucky to have any issue they are unwilling to help as the are again just the ‘booking agent’

   Staying here this week (actually here as I write this review) lovely spacious lodge ...very well maintained, clean and comfortable. Has everything you need including tvs that work in every room . 2 bathrooms and the lodge is very well heated . The hot tub is also well maintained and super clean has everything you need (even wifi for the teens) nice touches of towells left on beds for you also . .... and the price for easter week is amazing . I can't complain and will be back . Thank you

   Fantastic choice of good quality dog friendly lodges at various locations throughout the Lake District. Full price lodges are expensive/overpriced since the company was taken over by Sykes, but they can offer reasonable value for money when the prices are reduced. We have been using them for the past several years and would recommend them.

   Beautiful location for very nice cabins. Full kitchen and large living area, outdoor hottub is great. The restaurant on site serves delicious food.

   To be clear, this review is about the booking company 'Lake District Lodge Holidays'. Booking was all easy and simple. There were a couple of issues with the caravan and also the info supplied on the website did not match with the actual reception on site (cost of leisure facilities). We called/emailed LDLH and they came back and advised a repair time for the van problem. The other issues were blamed on the site (Parkdean) for not updating them on prices. Although apologetic no compensation was offered for the extra costs. The repair people never turned up (no major problem but still inconvenient). Upon our return I spoke to Parkdean who advised that all owners are updated on prices. I sent an email to LDLH regarding the above and just to see what they had to say. 4 weeks later and no reply so for a holiday booking/management company I have to mark them as poor. While staying they were responsive but once home they are not interested.

   Had a self catering private lodge on white cross bay which is located on lake Windermere, lovely location, great lodge with hot tub, lovely and cosy for last weekend in November they even put the xmas tree up which was a nice touch. Would recommend for a relaxing break away and will definitely be returning
