About 2 weeks ago, I came to the store trying to buy a skincare product and was helped buy a lovely lady called Sally at checkout. She showed and explained to me the offers that I had in the boots app and other things as I wasn’t familiar with customer benefits of boots. I’m so grateful for her and all that she did for me that day, I’ll defo be visiting boots more frequently now :)

This is my second visit to this store and unfortunately, I had the same unpleasant experience with the female staff in the cosmetics section. When I asked for help finding the right product match, instead of assisting me, they spent time talking about customers. I ended up trying to do it myself, only to overhear them making unprofessional comments about me using a different liquid to wipe my face. The customer service here is very disappointing and the staff need to improve their attitude and professionalism.

I visited the Sheffield high street store this morning at 8am to buy an electric toothbrush. I didn’t realise there was so many to choose from and asked a gentleman called Ashley for additional information on a particular toothbrush and heads that would fit. The one that i chose was the last one and he went above and beyond to make sure my purchase was presentable and put in the original box and answered all of my questions in a natural friendly manner which for me is the difference between making my purchase in the store or going elsewhere. Excellent customer service very happy also with my purchase.

Boots on Fargate in Sheffield city centre. This has the regular boots sections and counters like pharmacy, food & drink, fragrances, make up and all that stuff. You know what to expect from a Boots store so you should be able to pick up what you need.
Decent choice for sandwiches if you are just picking up lunch. There is a mix of stills, self service is fine for me.

The situation I experienced yesterday in Boots at High Street in Sheffield City Centre. ( I am writing about this day after this incident, still feeling very humiliated, shocked and down after what happened)
So at about one pm, I was walking towards the city centre I decided to go to Boots to buy some moisturizers and hand cream. At the front door on the right were a standing security guy and a shelf with cosmetics and stuff was on the left in front of him. I took one of the hand creams to read the description on the back ( as I do always to know the ingredients) distance between me and the security guy wouldn't be more than maybe 50-60cm. I didn't like this cream so decided to get out. And Suddenly the security guy stopped me and assumed that I stole this cream when I showed him that I left it on the shelf he took my bag and started checking and taking out my belongings, it happened in front of all of those customers and front of the main entrance. Is it even legal to do such a thing? I feel so humiliated, I wi never forget the faces of all those customers. I will never go there again, because of this experience and I am just afraid now.

Staff seem to be more interested in chatting between themselves than helping customers. We have been waiting by the perfumes display for more than 5 minutes, staff have noticed us but did not approach or help, instead they have continued chat. We have then decided to leave and go to competitors.

Went in to spend my Christmas vouchers and got some No7 products that I love. Was served by a very nice lady called Linda who explained all the offers to me that they had on. Ended with a good saving. Then I went to the pharmacy to get some things for my Mum who isn't very well and spoke to a lovely lady called Jayne who was beyond helpful. All the staff in there are nice though, whoever you speak to. Always a pleasure to shop in there
