   1 star because it eventually got finished. I wish I would have read some of the more negative reviews before approaching them for conveyancing. I rarely give reviews but wouldn't want anyone else to go through this mess. My case was handled by Debbie Murphy and took just over 4 months, lots of chasing and a formal complaint to get over the line. Speaking to Debbie herself was okay but her team are astonishingly rude. It is rare to be spoken to so poorly by anyone nevermind a paying client. The staff were abrupt, short and just unnecessarily rude. Imagine a client calling to ask for an update- the horror! They posted documents to the wrong house, they are stroppy on the phone and ignore you should you email. Did complaining do anything? Course not! You are paying for a service, take your business somewhere else where you will be treated with decency and respect.

   Posting this on behalf of my Mother and Father-in-Law who hadn't moved house for 49 years. They never even had cause to call the offices as Leanne kept them fully updated throughout the transaction. Nothing was too much trouble. She gave concise and considered advice, explaining everything thoroughly, with every issue that arose and ultimately made moving house for them so easy. They AND I, certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend Leanne and the Conveyancing Team at SHL.

   This company is a disgrace to the industry and is the type of firm that gives solicitors a bad name we have been waiting 12 months for them to even submit our purchase for registration they ignore email after email and when eventually response they make promises they have no intention of keeping. Constantly blaming others in the practice or past employees but make no attempt to rectify past mistakes.
