It’s a shame to see others still have a problem with the cleanliness of this place. Haven’t been here for a good while (for reasons below) and wanted to come back just for the pool, but considering people are STILL upset with the dirty floors and wee smells, it’s clear not much has changed! I also signed my child up to a course in the past with wyndley. After noticing how β€˜friendly’ the male trainers were with two younger females, I chose to not continue taking my child. Wyndley tried to threaten me with debt collection agency over approximately Β£25 for refusing to give them 30 days notice, even though I didn’t receive the same notice for cancelled dates I paid for, laughable.

LIES! We booked for the Family Fun Swim because it said online: 'Fun session with floats and music'. There were no floats! LIES There was no music! LIES Once it became clear that the session was actually just access to the pool, I spoke to the 'human' at the desk, who was extremely disinterested and could not grasp that the session was incorrectly listed online. If you want floats, inflatables and music, ignore what's said online and book the splash session.

I’ve been going to Wyndley for 35+ years, but it’s changed little in the decades. It’s pretty basic inside, but it looks tired and is in obvious need for repair in several areas. The mixed changing rooms especially are pretty tired and rather dirty. Attending recently they’ve been in a dire state, with people wearing outdoor shoes even into the pool areas unchallenged I noticed which is just rude and very unhygienic. The floors as a result are often filthy, to be quite honest, with even the poolside drains being caked in black/brown water. It does what it says on the tin with no fanfare but I can’t recommend it. EDIT: dropped it down to 1* following another visit. 9am on a Sunday, child’s pool was already filthy. Ceiling tiles in the mixed sex changing rooms were missing and brown water was leaking into the changing facilities from the above pipework. No idea what those pipes contained, could have been anything. Obviously pretty important to ensure health and safety control in a swimming baths! Baby and toddler classes are NOT baby and toddler. Reception, whilst friendly, were unable to help when I mentioned parents had brought their 4/5+ y/o children into the baths and were thus making it impossible to safely introduce my small baby to swimming. Will never be going again, and I suggest nobody else does until they knock it all down and build something new.

The pool is perfect for all swimmers and learners. There are three pools for different age groups and swimming depths. Plenty of lessons for swimmers by both Wyndley and Boldemere clubs. Pools are heated in winters too! Parking is available. The only issue is that the mens toilets are broken a bit and are always fixed temporarily, and when they are broken, they get very smelly. I would give a 5 if this is sorted! Gents toilets are usable, but smelly as previously said.

Ginger warrior and Mr Simon gave me the best welcome I ever had walking into a serviced establishment. Keep up the hard work Paul and Simon. Top draw

The pool is clean and the water is hygienic. Pool experience is great and the teachers are kind and experienced in how to deal with situations. Overall, pool is great, hygienic, clean and has fresh water. Toilets are easily accessible and there is a wheelchair lift that goes down to the rooms as well as stairs. Highly recommend visiting for lessons or just for swimming in general.

The be active free swims are so good (one hour of free swimming every day), nice to see them being taken advantage of too always a good group of people at them.

Instructors change from one week to another. My daughter stayed for over 9 months on one level while she was making good progress, and she wasn’t moved to the higher level until I’ve spoken with her instructor to move her. We had a few cancellations this year due to staff being unavailable. No feedback was given about her level and the staff were not converting the information between them or reviewing her level.

Cleanliness ok, showers ok but children shouldn't have to see ladies giving themselves a good scrub down whilst the ladies are naked. Have some respect for children. Staff inflexible, unhelpful won't let child use their swim aids in big pool but do in the little pool. Wouldn't hurt for one session when transitioning from arm bands to something else, thus ensuring buying something child is comfortable with. Apprently if home educated daughter did lessons with them, it would have been allowed.
