   I need to understand why some staff are so rude and negative. If you are unhappy working here, please consider leaving rather than making others feel uncomfortable. There is no need for an unprofessional attitude. A little kindness, a smile, and some positive energy would make a big difference. Not coming back

   Pool area has recently been refurbished however shower and changing area remains dirty and usually always has a stench, cleanliness is not prioritised here, one week I found feacal matter smeared on the toilet roll holder in the female toilets. As if this wasn’t awful enough, my 4 year old, amongst others in the same class, was left in tears for 2 weeks in a row by the same teacher. I went to reception to complain only to be told to move sessions to a different day. Very sad that my child will no longer be using the services here due to staff who clearly aren’t bothered about customer complaints or cleanliness of this place.

   I rejoined after a few years! The Gym is sufficiently equipped with air conditioning! The Swimming pool is decent, Good Locker room with Showers & Toilets. Decent monthly priced and ok car parking spaces. Worth trying.

   Disappointing Decline in Standards Unfortunately, this gym has significantly deteriorated in terms of staffing, cleanliness, and overall safety. There is rarely any staff presence on the gym floor, which is particularly concerning in the event of emergencies, especially as some members have mobility issues. During school holidays, un-supervised younger users often misuse equipment, increasing the risk of injury. Additionally, weights are frequently left scattered or not returned to their proper places, creating a hazardous training environment. Despite a recent increase in membership fees, the quality of service has declined, with reduced staffing and no corresponding improvement in facilities or cleanliness. Safety concerns raised with management receive little more than vague or dismissive responses. This gym no longer provides value for money and fails to meet basic standards of safety and professionalism.

   A great leisure centre with fantastic instructors who are very friendly and motivating. I have been attending the group classes for a number of years now and never get bored. The swimming pools are great for the children. All staff are very welcome from the cleaning team, reception staff to the gym instructors.

   Love the classes ran by Lucy, fab instructor. Staff are always helpful and friendly. A big shout out to Josh, Ellie & Mike who took the time to help me with my gym membership options the other night & explain what option was best for me. Very much appreciated :)

   Parking is ridiculous at peak times. Vehicles parked on double lines, disabled spaces without any evidence of ticketing. The police signs state that someone was injured a result yet nobody is ticketing these vehicles. Signs clearly state overshoes must be worn in pool area. Nobody being told to remove shoes adding to the swimming pool soup. Come on guys sort it out so everyone can enjoy this facility.

   I’ve been a member at Stechford Leisure Centre for the last 14 years. During this time I’ve taken part in gym workouts, swimming, exercise classes, and loved every one. The community of members are welcoming and the staff are excellent. Since moving to the new facility just over four years ago, the centre has gone from strength to strength. There is honestly no better place to get fit with hard working motivated people.

   A great place to visit. Excellent gym facilities with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. The swimming pool is good but gets a little overcrowded at times. They have a little cafe to enjoy a hot drink or a light meal after some hard work. The current gym attended is both knowledgeable and always keen to offer help.
