I have been here 10 years now the place is falling apart lockers all broken and been broken in two last week no clean done the owners hotel need come sort the gym out
Be very careful when signing up for any promotions at this gym. I took the “summer offer” for three months at half price, only to later be told that the three months referred to full monthly payments when cancelling — effectively locking me in for six months. Definitely one to read the small print on! The gym itself is quite small, and the men’s changing rooms are dated and in need of serious modernisation. The lockers and showers are in poor condition, which adds to the run-down feel of the place. The actual gym facilities are okay, and parking is good, but that’s about it. I raised a complaint about my membership, and — no surprise — no one has bothered to get back to me. Overall, disappointing experience. Avoid.
I had a very disappointing experience at You Fit Solihull, mainly due to the unwelcoming and unpleasant attitudes of Gareth and Lisa. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer . Their lack of professionalism and rude behavior created an uncomfortable atmosphere, which really ruined what should have been an enjoyable visit. Customer service is key in a place like this, and unfortunately, Gareth and Lisa completely missed the mark. I won’t be returning anytime soon. They didn’t even want to give us a towel the way they spoke to us and look at us was very worrying I even called one of the girls from the hotel who didn’t understand why we couldn’t get a towel, voco is a lovely hotel with lovely staff but you fit is horrible go to Crowne plaza or village
Been a member for about 8 months now. In that 8 months they have put the price up and yet there is always something not working. Since I have joined the jacuzzi is hit or miss if it’s working or not. And for over a month now the steam room has been out of order. The customers haven't been offered compensation for the facilities that they are paying for and it’s such a shame as the location is good and if everything worked it would be great for what you get. When speaking to a lot of members they seem very unhappy as one of the steam room, sauna or jacuzzi seems to be down at one stage or another and never seems any urgency to fix them.
It's not bad it needs to be looked after a bit more. Staff is helpful
I used a free pass here today, looking for swimming facilities. The attendant couldn't have been less interested, no sales technique we had to ask membership fees, terms and conditions. The changing room is small, only 1 private cubicle. Floor was wet and dirty. The pool area is old, dated, and dirty. Tiles missing on pool, scum around the tiles, paint peeling of the walls. I gave this 1 star as it was free. I won't be returning.
Very small gym but has varied and good quality equipment, staff are loverly and extremley helpful. Facilities are always being cleaned throughout the day. Sauna and steam room nice size. Good value membership.
Dodds tour company booked us in for 4 nights. Buffet evening meals were about the cheapest quality you could get. Spoiled an otherwise enjoyable holiday.
I've been a member here for years. Friendly staff and members but pool area could do with a revamp. However it's still practical and the location is great.
