Absolutely shocking experience at Village Gym Solihull. I came with a friend to try the gym, having been told it was fine to bring a guest. We were refused entry for no reason, and the way the manager, Kerrie, handled it was completely unprofessional and hostile. She was rude, dismissive, and aggressive, making serious false accusations, including claiming I had made “threats” and that my friend was lying. I was humiliated, unfairly accused, and treated with suspicion instead of basic courtesy or a simple explanation. Not once was I offered a tour, guidance, or help. I have never in my life been treated this badly in a gym. If you value respect, professionalism, or common sense customer service, stay far away from this location until Village Gym sorts out management. This was embarrassing, stressful, and completely avoidable.

I recently joined The Village Gym in Solihull, and the staff member who assisted me with my application and tour was Jitender Singh. He was extremely polite, helpful, and, most importantly, very patient. This was a refreshing experience, especially as I did not feel the same level of service when I enquired at two other health clubs. It was Jitender’s excellent customer service and positive attitude that ultimately influenced my decision to become a member. I highly recommend The Village Gym for its outstanding service.

Great gym, would definitely recommend for the classes. I’ve been a member for a few years and the Box N Burn classes are my fav - they’re well-run by Tori and Thomas! They bring great energy, motivation and boxing technique and form which I appreciate. The Box N Burn classes always have good vibes and a great workout with a lovely group of people. Occasionally the treadmills and screens in the Burn Studio can be slow or don’t work so could use an upgrade, but understand that’s not down to the instructors. Overall great classes and a good workout!

I’ve been to so many Gyms in Solihull and as an all rounder this is my favourite. It’s not a huge gym floor but it’s got more than enough gym equipment and good quality equipment. I haven’t seen any out of order equipment which I’ve seen on a lot of other local gyms, and the class timetable is fantastic! The coaches are good and class instructors are great. Reception staff lovely, facilities always clean, and the membership fee is very reasonable for what you get. The only negative is the parking is difficult in the morning, possibly dies to guests at the hotel but it gets really busy. As a whole though would def recommend this gym.

Good gym, could do with more weight lifting machinery, only one of each for majority and it's quite busy.

Having visited many a gym over the years, I must say Village Gym Solihull is by far one of the best. It has a variety of CV and resistance machines, with TV screens on the CV machines with a variety of channels. It is generally very clean. The swimming pool is well heated, the Jacuzzi tub is big enough for at least 15 members to use at once and the heat rooms are rarely out of use and very warm. Additional water dispensers are very welcome. There is a variety of classes which I hope to book via the app very soon.
