I love it at this gym staff are very helpful and perlite the Facility it self is clear and spacious, gym equipment is great. I love the steam and Sauna room the pool is great after a workout. The equipment for the pool for the children is awesome and the swimming classes for the children are wonderful the class for the adults is very effective.

Ever dreamt of a competition on who gets the most diseases? This centre is your place! It's incredibly dirty, looks like the cleaner vanished long time ago. Plus, there's no separate space for men and women, so you can practice your courage by changing your clothes in a cubicle while hearing men talk! And everyone's staring while you dry your hair with those flimsy dryers will definitely boost your confidence!

I think 2 stars is fair. The building and equipment is great. The issue you have is the B-Active crowd. I understand the need for the council to support people in need, but when those same people completely abuse the system without staff getting any support to deal with them, you're not going to have a great time between 10am and 1pm. B-Active clients are only supposed to use the main gym between 10-11am. That is all. Not the swim and certainly not the spa. What they do is use the gym till whenever they want, way past 11am. There are no announcements or chaperoning them out at this time. A vast majority of them will then go down to the swim and spa. I have been in to the sauna and steam whereby the vast majority of the people in there are B-active (95%). There isn't even standing room sometimes. Paying a premium to use the spa and then having to listen to inane conspiracy theories and highly racial, prejudicial and political shouting matches is not my idea of relaxation. It appears as if the staff/management are scared of confrontation. I don't understand why have a scanning lock for members on both the entrance to the swim and the spa and not have it switched on? Atop this the disabled parking bays are really just for shows as anyone parks there with no comeuppance whatsoever. I have spoken to management on numerous occasions who assure me 'its on their radar'. The other option is to put a desk and member of staff at the entrance of the swim between 10am-12pm

The gym has a nice view and the space overall feels fine. It’s accessible and there’s a parking area nearby, which is definitely a plus. However, I only used the pool once, and unfortunately, the smell in the changing room was really unpleasant — like urine — which honestly put me off. I even reported it to the staff at the time. After almost a year, I decided to cancel my membership. Be aware that even after you pay for a full month, your membership won’t be cancelled right away. You still have to pay for the following month before the cancellation takes effect, which I personally found frustrating and unfair. Overall, the gym has some good points, but these issues made me reconsider continuing my membership.

This gym is decent but I’ve attended better It’s spacious, has parking, and generally attracts a decent crowd. It has also pool for swim lovers.I can say I’m overall satisfied with my experience and training there. Okay, sometimes when it gets crowded, I think they could have a few more machines. But overall, I haven’t really faced any difficulties with my workouts. It’s a good gym and relatively affordable, especially considering it operates on such a large-scale project like this.

So I went to reception I was greeted very politely ,but i had a very bad experience there staff don't know what they are doing as they are not keeping a count of the people going in should the computer that let the person who is booking in know that there is only 50 people aloud in the pool and the put a stop to it then. the on-site manager Lee was very rude also. And I don't understand if you are having an be active scheme going on for those who are working and those who are not at work . How can you be teaching a swimming lesson on that very same time scale as a family of 7, we had to change the kids into swimming costumes and so on, when we got to the pool we was told we can't go in because the people was full. i think they need a reassessment of what they are doing.

You have to wait a long time at reception just to gain access to facilities. It’s a little dirtier than you’d like. People spitting on changing room floors, no control over the people that go in and out of the sauna. But on the flip side the staff are friendly and the gym is a good size and has a range of equipment

Good facilities and polite staff HOWEVER very understaffed so it takes 10-20mins minimum to speak to a receptionist to pay for a swim and they will never answer the phone so don't bother calling. The website's swimming timetable is NEVER updated correctly so be careful about telling children you're going swimming as you will frequently be disappointed. Really need to employ more receptionists. I would not recommend this leisure centre.
