I would highly recommend the firm and in particular Daniel Stear and Claire Orford who provided the conveyancing for the recent sale.    In a word, incompetent. I had arranged with my solicitors to exchange on a property today and this had been agreed with Storrar Cowdry. I find out that Jane at Storrar Cowdry is on leave today and had not left the file with anyone. Her assistant does not have authority for the exchange. This has been put back to Monday. Disaster and will cost me money in storage.
