   Unfortunately we had the pleasure of dealing with these solicitors as part of our purchase - shockingly bad communication throughout and complete and utter failure to update our solicitors on any developments. While some delays (searches mainly) were allegedly out of their control, the lack of update to even the most basic of questions comes across as completely unprofessional and they had every person involved in the chain pulling their hair out. To add insult to injury, when they finally emerged from hiding, they completely ignored all of our solicitors questions and the updates were not clear. Would recommend avoiding at all costs

Each transaction has been dealt with professionally, timely and with good humour sprinkled in! Special mention to Karen Woods and Diane Asbury and of course the rest of the team too. There's a reason why I've always used them time after time for my conveyancing needs - they're the best!

   Fantastic service from all at Russell and Russell, the second time we have used their services. They were so professional, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They made the process so smooth and easy. We were informed about progress and the next steps and kept constantly informed. Emails were answered immediately and answers to questions we asked found out straight away. They took the stress out of buying a house and were so enthusiastic and genuinely please for us when we got our dream property.    Even as panel solicitors go, Russell & Russell are pretty hopeless. They clearly have far more important matters to attend to, than responding to your email or phone call. Very misleading and disorganised. Just terrible service. Don't say I didn't warn you...

   I think that Russell & Russell did a good job with conveyancing. It did take a long time, but I don't think this was anything to do with them. I believe that they did a lot of work - all in all - to complete a sale and purchase of a property for a perfectly reasonable fee. I found them to be communicative, give or take the fact that they are probably very busy in the current property climate.

   Possibly the most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. Don't return phone calls, don't respond to emails. I was given a different excuse every time I called for an update and a simple re-mortgage took them nearly 12 weeks. Finally got to speak to a manager but they seem happy to let the juniors take the flack while the senior 'Fee-Earners' are constantly in 'meetings'. Would NOT recommend and would NEVER use them again.

   We can't recommend Russell and Russell highly enough. We were first time buyers without a clue and on some very short timescales set by the vendor. The Russell and Russell team worked tirelessly and effectively in order to ensure we met the deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail. Always willing to talk to on the phone and responded very promptly to e-mails. Thank you your wonderful service, you made the house buying process a lot less stressful then it could have been.
