Very rude staff at the reception desk Not very helpful at all. They get angry and frustrated when you ask them questions about how to register or about there facilities. I had a horrible experience and to be honest put me off

The staff here are horrible and atrocious and very intimidating you can really tell that they dislike their jobs even the life guards in the swimming pool are completely horrible I brought my brother here and they discriminated him due to his weight.

I had a really bad experience with a woman named Yvonne. She was extremely rude and disrespectful to me as a customer, and her behavior was completely unprofessional. It honestly felt like she thinks she’s the boss, but she holds no real weight in the building. What is her job honestly because I think she need to reevaluate it. The way she speaks to people is unacceptable, and it reflects very poorly on the place overall. The staff clearly need proper customer service training because no one should be treated like that. Terrible attitude and a very disappointing experience. Besides that Everyone else in the building is amazing props to the staff but is their even a real manager in the building that monitors the place or is it ran by GHOST !

Very rude staff. Receptionist Jen gets a power trip off turning people away. She took a whole minute to turn around and hand us 2 registration forms. We were ready to sign up there and then, with all proofs, documentation & our forms completed. Despite this, she turned us away and told us to wait until the end of the queue for other people doing classes to be served first. So we waited until the end, with our completed application forms only for her to mumble and tell us to come back later on in the day. We questioned and said what time later? She said a few hours. We asked for a time again. She said 1:30pm - conveniently that that's the time which swimming would finish. How evil. She knew we were there for swimming and told us a time which sessions would no longer run from. Either that or a time which she presumably weren't on shift for. Thankfully, the manager was there and saw my documents/files in my hand, questioned Jen and asked for us as customers to be served and registered. The whole process of registering took 5 minutes but Jen just didn't want to do her job. The east Asian man at the desk doesn't want to work there either. He picks up the phone right on cue when it's time to let people into sessions so he conveniently can't serve. Ladies only sessions on Wednesdays are understandably busy, so why not serve the 26 people queuing straight away instead of waiting till 09:25 to serve? Its deliberately done so you end up having less time to do your activity. The lifeguards are also rude and I wouldn't trust them to save my life if I were to drown. It was my first time there and I didn't know you're to give your ticket/receipt to them before entering the pool. The LG was passive aggressive when asking for tickets. The other shouted at me for picking up a float and said they're not for our use. So what's the point of having floats if they're only for display purposes? Maybe it should not be there in the adults section or labelled not for use. The LG also finished the session earlier than the 1hr mark and was arguing with a member. Extremely unprofessional. At the end of the day people are here to better their lives and get active and healthy. The staff here need to also act healthily with their attitudes and work ethic.

During summer holidays, my son joined swimming classes and after a session now it's 2 week gone and they keep cancelling the session. Also the trainer doesn't come in water to teach the little kids 4-6 years old. And keep instructing from outside with a tone like .... everyone should understand in one time.

VERY DIRTY. Cleaning is a foreign concept to the management of this centre. The shower cubicles, toilets, floor, steam room, lockers-everything is dirty. The centre should be closed for at LEAST 2 days and deep cleaning is performed, which then should be maintained. I paid £9.50 to use the steam room, but left without using it-the place was too dirty. I did not want to catch ringworm, etc.

Handsworth Poll and well being centre toilet is absolutely disgusting. Too old and completely out dated. Must very soon updated. Staff are nice polite and friendly and helpful.

I have always found this place to be great. The staff go out of the way to deal with any matter concerned. Looking forward to when the pool is back up and running. A great bunch of life guards.

If you like a spin class.... then get your bum over to this place every Saturday and Sunday morning.... and allow Steve to show you how it's done. This man is possibly the best spin instructor in the UK. Be prepared to work hard and leave... drenched.

great gym with terrible staff and very bad customer service and a lack of professionalism and there is currently and ongoing petition against the staff. This is meant to be a wellbeing centre and they do not care about anyone's wellbeing. they must be stressed from their unhappy lives and let it out on us customers. I suffer from mental health and thought that this place would give me comfort and peace however get the opposite! They have a threatening attitude and do not know how to speak properly. There are some who are nice however the 3 receptionist are extremely rude as well as the security guards. what is being done about this, have you seen all of the reviews, everyone complains and what is the council is doing about this.
