Great service, friendly and understanding staff at the Wrexham branch of Allington Hughes Solicitors. Lesley Clarke was so helpful and reassuring. They explained everything to me step by step, kept me well informed and helped me through my divorce. Being neurodiverse, I needed things explained in depth, sometimes repeatedly, to fully understand the process. My Solicitor and the other staff had a lot of patience with me and were very kind.
Our experience with this firm of solicitors was extremely disappointing. From the outset, we made it clear that our situation was urgent, our elderly parents needed to move quickly, and my mother is in the latter stages of vascular dementia. Despite this, communication from the solicitors was virtually non-existent. We had to chase them repeatedly for updates, particularly regarding search results that hadn’t been followed up for over two weeks. When we finally received information, we discovered the necessary report had simply been sitting on someone’s desk. Further complicating matters, our assigned solicitor worked part-time and then went on holiday without any handover or work completed in her absence. When we expressed our concerns, we were told the firm was understaffed due to illness and holidays, yet this was never communicated to us when they took on our case. These unnecessary delays were especially frustrating given that there was no chain on either side; the process should have been straightforward and timely if managed proactively. Overall, our case was poorly managed and communication was severely lacking, with no regard for the human element of our circumstances. We felt like just another file, and the stress caused by their approach made an already difficult situation even harder. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this firm to anyone. If I could I would have rated 0 stars!
I contacted Melissa Griffiths recently regarding an ongoing speeding violation at very short notice. Melissa contacted me back and said she would take my case within 3 days of original contact, during my time through contact by phone or email to or from Melissa was very professional at all times. Throughout the court process Melissa made me feel at ease and was very assuring whatever the outcome of my case. Finally Melissa represented me throughout and also prevented me from losing my License which was a great result for which I’m very grateful and would recommend anyone to get in touch with Melissa regarding any issues regarding court, a true professional,friendly, compassionate and very understanding. Terrible service provided by family solicitor grishal . She has left me withou legal representation weeks before my court date knowing I have a disability and suffer greatly with my anxiety and bad nerves . It’s completely uncaring and frankly unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to any parent
I would award minus stars if possible. After an email and 4 phone calls, one of which to an assistant with an attitude reserved for the lesser able, I managed to speak to a lawyer who was rude, with a ego far exceeding his level of success. He failed to communicate on a civil level. The whole experience was so ridiculous it was almost amusing.

Easy to contact and make an appointment. Given a choice of a visit or telephone conversation. I decided to visit their office in Wrexham. I was treated with utmost respect, my solicitor listened carefully to what my needs were and carried out my instructions very efficiently.
