It's up there with one of the worst firms I've dealt with. Can't get hold of them even after leaving several voice messages. The one individual I did get hold of had a poor grasp of the English language. They should be struck off.
5 months working with this solicitor, absolutely shocking. They never answer calls, never reply to emails. Over the 5 months ive never received a call back even though they say they will. He always seems to be busy with his clients but no time for me even though i am a paying client aswell. Take your business to a different solicitor avoid these at all costs. Save yourself a headache!
All i can say is I am very disappointed... Phone Calls dont get returned and one of the emails on the website is obsolete. I found out when i called to chase... I was assured i would get a phone call back but No...
Unfortunately, I have to echo a number of themes from recent reviews. This firm handled my mum’s park home sale last month, and they were dreadful from start to finish. There are three key themes. Communication: we were clear from the beginning that we weren’t in a rush to get the sale done (which must be unusual for conveyancers to hear from clients), and that all we wanted was clear and regular communication about what was happening and when. Not a big ask, but this didn’t happen. Emails regularly went unanswered, and when I did get replies I regularly had to send the same email multiple times because they just didn’t answer my very simple questions. It seemed like they weren’t reading my emails. It is also very difficult to get hold of anyone on the phone. Knowledge: they didn’t seem to understand the park home sale process. The day before we were due to complete, nobody had been in touch with us to confirm anything (there is no exchange step in a park home sale). We called and - when we eventually got a call back from the conveyancer - were reassured that everything was done and would go through the day after. There was nothing for us to do and they would be in touch to let us know funds had been processed. At 3pm the next day, we still hadn’t heard anything and our buyers were sat outside waiting. It turned out they had missed a step in the process, and this wasn't picked up by anyone, nor we were informed until we called. Professionalism: on the day of completion, when we rightfully (and politely) questioned why they didn't know about this important step in the park home sale process, and why they hadn't updated us earlier in the day, we were rudely hung up on. We then called back, only to be told our call wouldn’t be taken. The woman we spoke to said she “hadn’t done a park home sale before” and simply seemed unable to cope with us asking questions. Utterly bizarre, to be honest, and a terrible way to do business. This is all in stark contrast to the conveyancers - Taylor Rose - I used for my own property sale, which was happening at the same time as my mum’s sale. Having the two sales happening in tandem allows me to write this review from a place where I can see how it should have been done. Avoid this firm at all costs.
Supremely unhelpful. I've purchased a building where they have acted on behalf of the seller and I have no access to the building. The woman on reception refuses to put me through to the solicitor handling it as "he's a director and a very busy man", she wont put me through to his secretary as she's "very busy too". We completed at lunchtime its 4pm, I have workmen arriving at 8am, my solicitor has asked them to contact me urgently, but the gatekeeper on reception is having none of it. I would not use this firm!
