Absolute waste of time. Spent roughly a year going back and forth with these jokers. Penultimate letter gives me an amount and a guarantee court would take the case. Letter after that closes the case telling me they won't help and they closing the department. Disgusted. I advise you all....go elsewhere!!!
We were made aware of a Japanese Knotweed issue in our garden nearly 12 months after moving into the property. As first time buyers we were really shocked and upset to learn that the Knotweed had been missed by the surveyors whilst carrying out a level 3 building survey. We contacted Cobleys for advice and they swiftly advised we had a chance to claim for damages. Gemma took on our case and she has been very professional, helpful, polite and has kept us up to date every step of the way. Although the surveyors did not formally accept liability, Gemma worked hard to claim us compensation for damages which covers the cost of the treatment plan. Cobleys went above & beyond, even wavering some of their fees to ensure we were compensated at least the cost of the treatment plan. This level of kindness is really appreciated and has lifted a lot of stress and worry from us. I would highly recommend Cobleys as they have been nothing but great throughout this whole process. Not the best. Don't really do any work themselves as I had to request everything from the company who data breached me. I thought I could pass the information to this solicitors and they would request the information from the company themselves, but they never and when I asked them if they could do this, I got no reply and I still haven't after well over a week's time. I have now went with a different solicitors, which have helped me a lot more and have requested what they need from the company themselves and have relieved me from a lot of stress.
Don't even bother.. stuck up their own hoop only care about the money... No communication at all terrible service best mates with the judges too absolute joke

I rang and spoke to Keith about defending a data breach claim. His free, initial advice saved me thousands of pounds in a settlement. I wouldn't hesitate to use Cobley's again if necessary. Though hopefully it won't be!
