It WAS a lovely caravan site, due to new site wardens. I would not recommend for family's. We have had our caravan on for over 10 years having great memories and fun times. But the new wardens may need a little training in customer service. Won't be going back which is a shame.

What a lovely site this is! We are new to the site this year and can honestly say it so warm and welcoming. They have organised activities for the children and quizzes and bingo for the whole family. Both the wardens Phil and Mags and the owners Phil and Chris are so lovely, this is our new happy place! The grounds are kept immaculate and there are lots of amenities on hand in the village just a short walk away x

It's a quiet site on the edge of Misterton. The wardens Mags and Phil are welcoming and helpful as are the owners Chris and Phil. We've been coming here now for the best part of 3 years with our touring caravan as it's only a 30 min drive away for us and a break from town life. We love the quietness, the cycling and the area for a walk as (it's close to a river/canal). On site the pitches are all numbered and generous in size and we feel appropriately priced considering that families and awnings/ehu are included. If you don't want ehu a reduction in price is given. The summer visitors of Swallows can be watched dipping and diving around the site in and out of the barn. There's a play area with a field for kids as long they are supervised. Wildlife is noticeable we've seen Kestrels, Swallows, Robins, Terns, Common Buzzards. Close by within a 10 min walk is a great chippy, chinese takeaway, pizza place. A shop and butchers aswell a 2 pubs a short walk away if you want to eat out. We've had a nice quiet few long weekends over the past 3 weeks, and enjoyed every minute.

Long-Time Visitors Sadly Let Down We stored our touring caravan and holidayed at this site for over 10 years. It used to be a wonderful, family-friendly place where we felt truly welcome. Unfortunately, since the return of the current wardens, the experience has gone drastically downhill. The wardens had previously left to run another site — reportedly for more money — but were forced to leave that one after upsetting regular guests. Since returning here, they’ve brought a completely different atmosphere: cold, controlling, and intolerant toward families and children. The way they speak to kids and parents is often rude and condescending. In our case, one of the wardens even physically laid hands on a child in our group — totally unacceptable. They now hide behind organised activities, but if a child doesn’t follow their rules exactly, there’s no leeway or kindness — only criticism. After responding to an incident (not involving our own child), we were told to leave and remove our caravan from storage — even though we’d just paid for the year. Legally, they had no grounds, but we chose to walk away rather than escalate the situation. What’s worse is that the owners seem completely unaware of how many regulars have quietly stopped coming back. The problem is right in front of them, but nothing changes. We’re heartbroken to leave after so many years, but we can’t recommend this site anymore — especially not to families. A real shame.

This site is peaceful, although near main road , no toilet block, just a big field with playarea and pond. Local pub nearby, you can walk too, chip shop+ diner , pizza shop, within village. Dogs allowed on leads on site. Lovely place to unwind with family.

White House Farm is a great campsite for caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents. There are pitches with or without electric on grass or hard standing. It's dog friendly for well behaved dogs and there are some lovely walks around the area. There are no toilets or showers, but this does not affect visitors with their own facilities. There is a well stocked fishing lake and a children's play area with swings, slides, a zip wire and wooden climbing frame all on a safe play surface. The owners, Chris and Phil are lovely people and have just taken on two very pleasant and friendly site wardens.

Cracking little place, gives you the space and openness to relax and unwind. Great walks to be had with pubs enroute. Great friendly owners and wardens. Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent quiet site within walking distance of village for shops, takeaways and pubs. If you don't mind using your own facilities then this is a great little site very well managed and maintained with friendly staff.
