I'm a Motability customer (and no, we dont get a 'free' vehicle, we pay a lot of money up front and then lease it with a monthly payment), unfortunately it's off the road at the moment due to not my fault damage. Motability have an agreement with Proximo about sourcing replacement vehicles. Joe who was dealing with it was fabulous, he spent ages making sure he understood exactly which of my vehicle adaptions were essential and which I could manage without for the short term replacement. As an ambulatory powerchair user I have to be able to take my large heavy chair with me. The best vehicle for my needs turned out to be a van with a tailgate lift. Less than 48 hours later it was delivered to my house and it's such a relief to be fully mobile again.

Proximo , my 3week old Volvo has broken down a few times since I got it , as Iβve had a stroke , it exacerbates any stress I have . . Which was made easier by Proximo , very easy to deal with, just what you need , when you canβt deal with things in the same way, you used to, they kept me up to date at every stage, and delivered a lovely Seat 7 seater with my much needed adaptions. . We recently discovered the βWAV Experienceβ section of the Motability website when searching for a suitable vehicle. Couldn't believe this amazing chance to try out a passenger WAV, just to see if right for us. The experience was arranged through Proximo whom we canβt praise enough! From the excellent customer service given by Kat, to the prompt delivery by another lady (Imre). I must also give special mention to the man who accompanied Imre, he gave a thorough and detailed explanation of how to use everything β¦ he was extremely knowledgeable about all things WAV! An amazing week of driving to shops on monetary/ all our usual places. Would highly recommend to any unsure Motability customers. It helped us to decide that we are not yet ready, which we would not have know without this experience. Big thanks to all.

everything was sorted really quickly via my insurance company. My adaptation requirements were listened to carefully, and to my delight were done properly. The replacement car I received was very similar to my own. It was handed over well and promptly. Very happy.

I was so grateful for the car loan whilst my motability car was in the garage for tests. I am completely reliant on my car to get around and to get one that I could still use my wheelchair was brilliant. Lovely staff listened to my requirements and found a suitable vehicle for me. Proximo staff were really helpful and understood the needs of our family and the temporary replacement vehicle that we required They even delivered it to the hospital for us as our son had an all day appointment. Updates of repairs to our vehicle were also regular and helpful

Great service. So relieved that there is a company who can provide a courtesy car which is adapted. It may not be everything my usual vehicle is however, for the short term the provided vehicle is adequate. I will be able to do most of what I normally would want to do.

They are always friendly on the phone. And did sort out my courtesy car, which was great. But the only thing I would say is they take a while to respond to you and when you ring up, they say someone will get in touch, but from my experience, it has been months since they got in contact with me. I asked to have an update a month ago and am still waiting for a response. My accident was nearly over a year ago.
