A really nice bird hide, but the trek from the car park is quite long

Massive nature reserve. Well kept and an abundance of wildlife.

It is a lovely area to see wildlife. It is quite large with a few viewing areas. You have to keep dogs on a lead and there are some areas you cannot take your dog at all but it's well signposted. We saw lots of birds on the water and also pheasants on the path as we were walking along. We saw a barn owl in the evening which was wonderful.

Great for photography and bird watchers. Or even just walking. Some parts you can't take dogs round. Huge place .

Loved it here there is a fantastic amount of wildlife sooooo many birds we saw Gadwall, teal but maybe not green winged, goosander/mersenger, shovellers,Allard's, swans 3 types of geese a kestrel about 8ft away on a fence, a pereguine flying over maybe and clouds of 100's of lapwing sensational the sky was full of them! It's all very natural no-one is too close to the water so the wildlife feels safe this is a fantastic lifeline for them the hide is amazing lots of room, clean glass, easy to open look outs. It's all easy footpaths wheelchair/pram friendly so everyone can enjoy it but dogs aren't allowed near the hide for the safety and security of the birds and wildlife
