I had the worst and horrific experience with a heartless, appalling, & racist driver. I booked a taxi on 20th Dec night against 21st Dec morning at 6:45am and the driver arrived at 7:00am (15min late). When I attempted to talk about the delay the cab driver said he doesn't care that I should call their office and direct my dissatisfaction. I told him for reasons of courtesy and good customer service, a word of empathy or apology will make a difference. Shockingly, for a trip I have already paid for he tried 3 times to kick me out of his car by stopping in the middle of the road & by the road side and asked me to get off his car if I'm dissatisfied as he doesn't want any complain from me & doesn't care if I'm late to work, I should rather ring their office & make my complain & not to him as he can't be bothered having a talk with "people like me". I refused to get off the car due to I've paid on-app for the trip and for wanting to kick me off at odd locations where I can't easily get another taxi as I was already late for work. This is the worst of a service driver with a terrible attitude that I have ever seen! In my honest opinion this driver, whose name I think is Mark (according to the App) shouldn't be on the road as a public transporter and I challenge the company to have a review of any camera recordings he might have had in the vehicle for this incidence. As though I haven't been treated badly enough, when I rang the office to make a complain about this, the agent on duty told me in a brash manner to call back as they "are very busy now". What a horrible customer service! Total lack of empathy and regards for customers. It's hypocritical, unfair, and low standard to notify and charge customers extra after 'free' 3minutes of driver's waiting, yet can't take responsibility for delaying customers and not genuinely tender a simple apology for such delays! I am done and over with your abysmal service quality and customer apathy! A 0 star wouldn't even be appropriate for this review! UPDATE @ 22/12/25 To further show how incompetent their staff are in handling customer complaints, I received a phone call the morning following posting my review from one of the staff (from the voice I could tell it was the same staff who brashly told me that they are very busy), and straight away she said to me: "I saw your review and I want you to explain it to me". Excuse you, explain what to you? The review is detailed enough, and I owe you no explanation for it. It was then she unapologetically rephrased to say she wanted to have a discussion but only began to question why I stated that the driver was racist. How could you call me to demand an explanation from me as to why I stated that the driver was racist, when you incompetently ignored all the concerns that I raised in the manner I was treated and you failed: 1. to receive my complaint when I called to inform you that I was being kick out of a ride I paid for; 2. to acknowledge that my taxi was delayed for 15miutes which caused me to be late to work; 3. take ownership and responsibility for the delay and apologise for it. Not a single empathy and apology from yourselves; 4. to acknowledge the horrific and inhumane attitude of the driver in stopping the car about 3 times on the road asking me to get off his car and saying he doesn't care if I was late or not and if my taxi was delayed or not. I was so terrified by his conduct. 5. to acknowledge or apologise for the driver's racial remark that he doesn't care that my trip was delayed as he cannot stand a word from "people like you". Same reason he wanted me out of his car. I stand by everything I have stated here and challenge your company and the driver to prove me wrong by providing the video/audio camera recordings in his car and the recorded phone calls. As a customer, I have the right to make a complain and write a review of the woeful service experience that I have received from yourselves, so you should rather get a training on how to handle customers complaints in order to offer better quality services to them!

Used to have a good experience and wouldn’t use anyone else. But when I book a taxi 3 hours prior to when I need it and the “booking created” only flashes on the app 10 minutes before I’m due to have it is a bit ridiculous. Now I’m sat waiting for an extra 30 minutes whilst they’re assigning a driver.

Twice I have had a taxi arrive on time between the hours of 8.00am and 9.30am which I know is a difficult time. I've used this firm for airport runs back and forth and can't fail them on those occasions. However the last time we tried to book them for a trip just back from the airport, we had difficulty contacting them . Eventually we got through to them and were told they only do drop offs and pickups. So wouldn't do just a pickup. Therefore we went to another firm who were able to accommodate us. To say we were disappointed in Yellow Cars is an understatement. I gave 3 stars because of previous service.
