   I had a very poor experience with this company. I was transporting my disabled aunt (who uses a power chair and suffers from anxiety) to a disabled respite centre, with which Yellow Top has a partnership. I was advised to use Yellow Top because of this partnership. However, pre-booking a trip was impossible, not even a 30 minutes heads up when I got my final connecting train from Wigan. We had started the journey in Ramsgate, Kent, so it had been a very long and challenging day regardless. The man I spoke to on the phone was exceptionally rude and dismissive of my situation. He professes to be disabled himself and "did not need lectures on disability", talking over me, before hanging up in a huff. I'm afraid I beg to differ. I think he does need a lecture, explaining that all disabilities are different, and that disabled people, particularly those with severe mental health issues, cannot handle sudden changes to their plans, or a lack thereof. Fortunately for me, I was able to call my uncle nearby to transport our luggage. And then I *walked* with my aunt the 1.4 miles to the centre. I have registered my dissatisfaction with the centre and recommended this partnership be ended promptly. I will be sourcing alternative transport on the way back. It is a criminal lack of common sense that Yellow Top does not allow disabled people to pre-book disabled taxis. They should be priority customers. Able-bodied people can use a range of cars. Those in power chairs cannot. Incidentally, I am a journalist and intend to write about the disabled access issues in Southport in the near future. I'll be approaching Yellow Top for comment in due course. Should the company refuse to comment, that is what will be reflected in the piece.

   Tried all week to book a taxi, told to call on the day, called on the day and was told l “oh I don’t think we’re working tonight at midnight”…. What a strange ‘taxi’ company

   Awful service. Called the company and they said 5/10/15 minutes. Obviously this didn’t register in my head as a poor taxi firm to use. Following a 30 minute wait I called as a follow up. They said they had already been and text me saying they were outside - obviously this was a lie or it had been them one in a million chances where a text never went through... you be the judge. They said a car would arrive shorty after, which, guaranteed it didn’t. If people decide to read this please opt for someone else, trust.
