“Took a cab ordered by the Vincent Hotel in Southport to a local eatery Verite’s in nearby Birkdale on Tuesday evening. The cab was on time and the driver very friendly and chatty. Upon entering the restaurant and taking our seats I noticed that all my debit & credit cards were missing from my phone / wallet. The restaurant manager rang the taxi company and asked if any cards had been handed in. Shortly afterwards the receptionist from the hotel rang me to advise that the taxi driver had found all the cards and dropped them on reception. Obviously I was relieved and then able to enjoy my meal at Verite’s restaurant. I would like to personally thank the taxi driver for his honesty and integrity, my faith in good people was well and truly renewed. Thanks sincerely Paul T.”
