Called to order a taxi on behalf of a customer of our cafe. Operator was very rude and obstructive, he demanded to know why we were calling for them and told us he found it very strange that they weren't calling themselves. We regularly ring taxis for customers, especially those who are elderly or unwell, but we won't be using this company again.
First time using central cabs....rarely get a taxi. Southport to Liverpool cruise terminal and return trip a week later. Timing perfect, pleasant & helpful driver. Central cabs kept us well informed. Definitely be using again!!
Absolutely don't use.girl with no experience said 10 minutes then over an hour it came.We can't walk far and were cold from sitting outside all this time .She sad had a driver near but he went to loo ,,what excuses are these..If she'd had said an hour wait we would have got a reliable firm
I was told the driver would arrive in 10 minutes and he arrived in 6. After using other firms that consistently let me down by telling me it will be a 15 minute wait and then it becomes 40 minutes, it was good to have a company that gave an accurate time, with a professional polite driver who took the shortest route to get me to my hospital appointment on time.
Dreadful service. Ordered a taxi at lunch time for a 3.30 pickup. Thought 3 and half hours notice would be enough but taxi didn't arrive and when I phoned very rude gentleman, Paul, told me they couldn't guarantee a pick up at school time as they were too busy. I explained I was unable to stand for long periods and that was why I'd pre-booked but was rudely told nothing they could do. Lack of customer service and respect for the people who pay their wages. Would recommend finding a different firm if you want a reliable pick up.
I was nervous about getting a taxi by myself, I needed to get to the vets, the taxi driver was reassuring, great attitude, on time and waited for me to return as I asked, would recommend.
Taxi that was booked in advance was 20 minutes late and when I rang up to ask where it was the woman was rude on the phone. Car was unsafe as had engine warning light on and was excessively knocking from the suspension.
Too big for me to get into really. He kept my trolley money!! And charged me more than other taxis! Wouldn't drop me at door & help me out either! I slipped. Left my shopping in the wet. I WILL NOT USE AGAIN!
How is it possible that an English driver charged me £5.50 and then a Pakistani driver charges me £8.50 for the SAME FARE? And when you query it they yell at you down the phone! NEVER USING THIS CAB FIRM AGAIN as they are NOT HONEST or POLITE!
Appalling service. Been using this service for 20+ years. They still don’t know my name although admittedly I’m using it less frequently in recent years as now live elsewhere. Older lady who has answered phone for years usually efficient but manner in need of customer care training. Tonight booked for 11:15 return from pub. I called to say he’d not arrived. He’d been and gone they said. Really? Normally I get at least 2 texts from them to say on/way arriving but not tonight. I called to complain. They said they would send another. It never arrived and their phone was always ringing out when I called them. Also the original driver on way out to pub had been very late and an aggressive driver.
