   I have been taking my dog here for 2 years and when I first took him he was very challenging for her, but this didn't phase her and she persevered and has now gained the full trust of our dog, he is happy to be groomed by her now and she always does a fantastic job, she clearly loves dogs and is dedicated to doing a great job and I am very comfortable leaving my dog with her, I have struggled with other groomers in the past, but doggy styles has my full trust in every department.

   NO BIG DOGS. NO RESCUE DOGS. Was recommended by family, apparently she’s great with small dogs. When I called to book I explained that I had a 9 year old rescue labradoodle, and that it was her first time at the groomers since we adopted her, I was told she would be fine. The first thing she said when we arrived was “wow, she’s massive,” followed by a string of excuses as to why she wouldn’t be able to groom her “she’s too big,” “too old to jump on to the table,” “too heavy to lift.” I don’t know what she was expecting, my dog isn’t big for her breed, and quite agile for her age. But I apologised for wasting her time and was about to leave with my dog, when she then said something along the lines of “also you never know with rescues, you’ve not had her since she was a pup, all owners think their dog is as good as gold but she could get aggressive.” Fair enough if she’s too big for the bath/grooming table but don’t tell me you can’t groom my dog just because she is a rescue, any dog ‘could get aggressive,’ she is the most gentle dog I ever met. Absolute waste of time, but I’m glad we will be going elsewhere, my dog deserves better than this!

   Brill groomer, she obviously loves dogs, she was patient and kind to my timid dog, having been a rescue he is still nervous of people. She took time with him, reassured him, and did a fantastic job of grooming him, he looked great when I picked him up. I would highly recommend her.
