We picked up our foundation puppy Milo a few days ago and he has been a dream. He settles in his crate quickly, walks with a loose lead, sits when asked and has a lovely calm nature. He’s been brilliant with the kids and meeting new people/ other dogs. Massive thank you to Hannah for training him and the hillside team.
Thank you to Simon, Emily, Gary and the team! We are so appreciative for your time and effort put into training our pup! Simon delivered our fluffy goldendoodle, Archie just before Christmas and he’s settled in to our life so well. Having him ‘advanced trained’ has been a dream. He’s is gentle, calm, loving, and superb at recall and loose lead walking. He’s already best friends with our 4-year-old, but our 2 house cats are yet to love him as much as he loves them - no doubt they’ll be curling up together soon. If we hadn’t found Hillside we would be waiting until we had the time to dedicate to puppy training. But having a head start has been brilliant for us - Archie is already picking up our additions to his training (hopefully just the intentional bits!). We really appreciated getting to visit him regularly before he arrived, all the training of us to continue what he’s been taught, and the check in and additional support. We definitely recommend finding your new furry family member at Hillside Paws for Life.
Our family can’t thank Simon, Gary and the whole team enough for our new goldie Bear, Dexter! We approached hillside looking for a gentle, kind, well mannered dog to join our family and they delivered everything we could have ever wanted and more. Our little boy has autism and finding a dog that has a calming energy for him and just wants to be adored was so important to us. Simon was great at advising us which dog would fit our needs. We were kept up to date along his training journey and the team went above and beyond to meet the requirements we had for Dexter, so he would blend well into our lives and routines. Dexter has just come home to live with us after completing his training and he is everything we dreamed of. He is relaxed, content, respectful and just beautifully trained. The handover was in depth, we learnt what commands are used and when so we can maintain his skills. We can walk him anywhere with no pulling, he travels well, he understands and respects the house threshold and boundaries. He is calm with the children and so loving. Everyone looking for a dog should understand that all the training put into the dogs should be continued when they come home and be willing to follow the advice given by the trainers. Any questions we had were answered, we felt very supported through his transition home and feel confident to now continue everything we all have learnt. We can’t thank you all enough, Dexter has already brought so much love and happiness to our family!
We spent over 12 months researching reputable breeders of Irish Doodles and once we came across Hillside Paws for Life we knew we’d found the right place. Fast forward a few months and we went to view a litter of 11 day old pups to pick our dream dog. Hillside were brilliant at keeping us updated on our healthy little pup growing, developing and socialising. When it came to bringing him home, he was just the dream puppy and I put a lot of that down to the breeding and the first 8 weeks of his life being at Hillside. Paddy is our best friend and the best decision we ever made! Highly recommend!
Took Oscar our Maltipoo for his first grooming and they did a lovely job one happy puppy and owners will definitely use them again
Hillside have been great for us, began with them for grooming for my older dog and we discovered the cute puppies they have bred, we decided that Monty was the one for us as soon as we met him and knew he was coming from a reliable, safe place. Hillside are amazing at getting us a appointment for grooming for both, they were also great when we wanted to visit Monty before he came home, wouldn’t recommended a better place☺️
We collected our little pup 2 weeks ago. Simon and his team obviously love what they do and take such care of the pups. All jabbed and microchipped sorted before we collected our bundle of joy and the puppies are happy around everyone there. After 2 weeks we have a happy confident pup and would recommend to anyone looking for a caring breeder. Booked for his first groom in December and looking forward to Simon and his team catching up with Max again
Fantastic Puppy ! We brought our Borderdoodle just over a week ago and can't believe how quickly he has settled into his new home. Only the first night was a little bit bad. On day 2 he was going through the night and by the end of the first week he's well on the way to being toilet trained. He has an amazing temperament and now feels like he's been in the family for ages. All of this is down to the work by Hillside Pas for Life and the care they take in their breeding and rearing. So glad we bought from them despite the distance, can't recommend them enough.
