   I first came to Whittington Goddard shortly before retiring from a teaching career when I realised I had to exist on a pension! I had some savings and inheritance, but needed advice on how to manage the financial aspect of this important stage of my life. I couldn't have found myself in better hands! Whittington Goddard are the kind of company who are approachable and friendly, but amazingly efficient and professional, who demystify the sometimes obscure world of finance, and best of all, treat you like a human being, not just a client! Thanks to the very sound advice I have received, I now have peace of mind and a confidence in my future and that of my loved ones. I also have a very reassuring feeling that I can seek and find help with any problems or changes in my circumstances when I need to. Overall, a fantastic and much appreciated service, and excellent value for money.

   I initially approached Whittington Goddard for some advice on what to do with the small lump sum I received on retirement. Having received some good advice and asking the company to manage it for me, my husband then got on board when he retired. What I find particularly good is their impartial advice about how much money I am likely to need at various life stages. They not only advised me on my investment but also encouraged me to use the money when I needed it. Withdrawing the money I needed at any time was very simple and with regular meetings and an online facility to look at the portfolio it was easy to see how my money was working for me. I recommend this very friendly and approachable company.
