   We would thoroughly recommend Oakstone Bathrooms. Dan managed the whole project really well. He and the rest of the team (electrician, joiners, tiler) were all very friendly and professional, and everything was done to a really high standard. We're very happy with our new bathroom!

   Dan and his team installed a new bathroom for us. We’d previously struggled with working out the best use of the space and creating a bathroom that was easy to clean but still had a high end feel to it. Dan guided us through the process of selecting a suite and how to best use the space whilst also being conscious of our budget. Dan is meticulous with every detail, communicative and helpful. I would recommend anyone to consider Oakstone plumbing for a new bathroom installation.

   Dans service and communication was prompt, professional and high quality. Communication from initial introduction to finish was 5* and Dan was open and honest about our situation and the work that needed to be completed/corrected. We had a large bit of work done around a year ago following a leak from the upstairs flat, resulting in severe damage to the point where the management company instructed a company to fit two new bathrooms. For a year following installation we endured a sewage smell coming from the shower which we raised with the initial company numerous times but received no response/resolution. We had no choice but to find our own contractor and luckily found Dan on a Facebook post and got in touch. I explained the situation to Dan and he came within the next few days. Dan discovered the issue straight away and made us aware that the shower and toilet plumbing was installed incorrectly. This was a challenging job as the initial company had left very little room under the shower tray resulting in insufficient fall which caused the smell. The toilet was also installed incorrectly and an issue was discovered that could have resulted in another leak if not resolved. Dan was open and honest about the situation and talked me through various options before deciding on the one we felt worked best for us. He talked me through every step and ensure I was happy before proceeding, answering any questions I had. The work required to put right the poor workmanship from the precious company was significant and Dans colleague, Tom was involved to complete relevant joinery work. They both did an incredible job and we can’t thank them enough for resolving this issue we’ve endured for over a year. We no longer have to deal with that awful smell and feel reassured that the plumbing is correct and has greatly reduced the risk of a further leak. Dan also fitted us a new shower head and thermostat at our request and recommended a high-quality fitting at a very reasonable price. The advice Dan has given us and the detailed report of the poor workmanship that he identified and resolved has given us the confidence to raise this with our management company and hopefully receive some form of compensation. Even if we don’t we are extremely grateful for Dans work and can’t recommend him enough. We will definitely use Dans services in the future for any plumbing work.

   Renovating and tiling a WC and fitting a new toilet would be a small job for Dan during a time when he was quite busy. However, he was very helpful and informative and managed to take on our job by working flexibly. Although other tradesmen were involved in the completion of the task, Dan organised the project, communicated clearly and even turned up on occasions when he was not practically involved, to make sure things were going well. We are well pleased with the outcome.
