   I can't recommend Lexicon Tax highly enough. I was contacted through the Let Property Campaign and I wanted to bring my tax affairs up to date. Initialy, I thought I could complete the process on my own, however I soon found that I was out of my depth. After consulting a few Tax Advisors, I contacted Lexicon Tax. From the outset Naz put my mind at rest and talked me through the whole process. His patience and genuine care shone through all of my dealings with him. His expertise and knowledge reassured me and helped me navigate unchartered waters. Throughout the whole process Naz communicated with HMRC on my behalf and kept me updated regularly. I was very pleased with the outcome and can't thank Naz enough.

   I was recommended to use Lexicon last year as I had never been self employed and didn't know where to start. After a brief phone call explaining what they needed and how it would all work I signed the paperwork to get started.    I couldn’t have asked for a more helpful tax adviser than Naz at Lexicon Tax. His expertise is based on twenty years experience of working for HMRC - but it’s not simply his knowledge that makes him a great adviser, it is his skills as a communicator which enable him to present complex information in a clear and jargon free way. Although approachable and easy to talk to, Naz also remained focused on the detail by asking relevant questions about my property sale which helped me better understand how capital gains tax works. And because I felt engaged in the process I was able to provide him with better evidence of expenditure incurred - which considerably reduced the amount of tax I am liable to pay. I had been considering submitting my claim without paying for advice - but am so pleased I didn’t his fees proved to be great value for money, and what I learned will also inform any future decisions I make. Having an adviser who I can run ideas past to ensure they comply with HMRC rules is really empowering as I now feel much less overwhelmed by the system. We have subsequently used Lexicon to develop an idea that will enable our children to get on the property ladder using the rules for combining gifting with a loan. I wouldn’t previously have had the confidence to consider this option but having learned so much from my conversations with Naz about tax, I’ve used my insights into practice to improve my family’s prospects. We couldn’t be more pleased with both outcomes and I highly recommend Lexicon because of the company’s values which are reflected in the quality of the service offered to their clients.
