   I had my Magneto refurbished by Armoto about six years ago and since then I have driven some 20,000 miles with no problem whatsoever from the Magneto.    Magneto was repaired by them lasted two month before went failed sold tractor not running had a call for the buyer saying the magneto was fitted with wrong parts ( DO NOT USE )

   4 magneto armature rewinds condensor replaced Boasch and Simms, all faultless and nicely presented, sometimes turnaround takes a little longer than hoped for 6/8 weeks but we live in challenging times and hence happy to wait for a reliable part before finishing restoring the Magneto

   BSA magneto £396 for a repair, ended up with a great spark and horrible noise as they didn't bother to change the knackered bearings. I won't be going back again. I have replaced the bearings myself and the re-used tab washer that was only just holding on. The two brass magneto body shims which were on the magneto when I brought it to you had not been put back which may be why the bearings were screaming. As I could hear the bearings in my kitchen which is 25 yards from the garage, I doubt very much if you tested it first and there was a lose screw. Your web site still says £300 for a completely restored magneto which is misleading at best!

   Be very careful The web-site is frankly misleading. It clearly states full restoration of magnetos at £300. And that if there are any extra costs, they’ll contact you. It isn’t and they don’t. So mine cost £750. They responded that the web-site was 8 years old as if it was my fault for believing it. I have no idea how good their work is as this far won’t be in the road before the warranty runs out, so I assume it will be fine Rewinding some RR coils was also very expensive but I thought I could trust them. My mistake. Just get a firm quote

   Do not believe the 3 year warrantee. Armoto Motor Units is now dissolved. They are not honouring their debts and liabilities. I have stopped cheque dated 11/06/2017 to prove this. Armoto Windings Ltd is also dissolved. How long will Armoto Ltd last. Very despicable and dishonest people.
