As a landlord I need to sort things for my tenants and I usually use 1st Call Gas Services in an emergency. They came and replaced a boiler two working days after it was condemned at a competitive price (Ben did a great job). They also diagnosed the problem with a noisy boiler to a faulty regulator on the gas meter. Cadent came and said it probably wasn't the regulator, but it was, good call from the engineer David C that you sent two days before Christmas! Thank you. I'll be using you again in the future.

I have no hesitation in highly recommending 1st Call Gas Services Limited. My 84 year old mumβs boiler had broken down during a recent spell of very cold weather. I contacted 1st Call who immediately understood mumβs vulnerability and acted incredibly quickly firstly in giving a second opinion on the condition of the boiler and secondly in installing a new boiler and flue. Absolutely fantastic service from 1st Call Gas! I reported an issue and they booked me in really quickly, Kile contacted me on the day with his time of arrival, he explained the problem and was really helpful and informative all the way through fixing it, which was done quickly and efficiently! 1st call is a company offering professional service. We have them install our new boiler. It was done within one day, and they came on time on the day. They went straight to work and didn't waste any time. After installing the boiler, we then found other old issues that were linked to other old parts of the water tank. We called them and they immediately arranged an engineer to come and check. They are really professional and efficient. We highly recommend this company. They are so professional.

Had a gas fire removed, my gas boiler serviced, 2 small parts fitted and 4 of my radiators filled after they had been taken off the walls for decorating. Work was done over 2 visits and both engineers were courteous, friendly and respectful of my home. Office staff were informed and helpful. However, I was really not happy with the pricing structure. I was quoted a price for the work which was reasonable compared to other companies I had contacted but after the jobs had commenced I was told I needed to pay by the hour for the work. The boiler needed 2 small, cheap (Β£15 total) parts which the engineer didnβt have so I had to pay for another 2 hours of labour for this and a recheck of everything the first engineer did. When the radiators were checked (another hour of labour) the engineer found there was small, cheap part missing from 1 radiator (he told me it should cost Β£1) however again he didnβt have the part on him so to resolve this problem I would have to have a third visit and pay for at least another hour of labour (Β£50 minimum). I canβt afford this so Iβm going to try myself but it was very disappointing when you were quoted a fair price originally and ended up spending considerably more than this in the end. Work and customer service good but be prepared to pay much more than youβre quoted.

An elderly relative's boiler had broken down literally just before Christmas and they were in urgent need of help. 1st Call came to the rescue and impressed with their speed of response, professionalism and overall quality of service.
