Medicash consistently looks for reasons to refuse claims and is slow to act or respond. Even when complaints are raised, they show little willingness to resolve issues. I have yet to see a positive outcome.
Over the past 12 months, I’ve received multiple complaints from employees. We employ over 200 people, all covered by Medicash, and the level of dissatisfaction has been significant. At our next renewal, we will be switching to another provider.

I've had access to the MyMedicash benefit for a few years now, provided as an option through my workplace, and it has consistently proven to be incredibly convenient and valuable.

The process for claiming reimbursement for essential healthcare items, like my spectacles (anteojos), is straightforward and the money is quickly returned to me. It’s a huge financial help and makes managing routine health costs much easier. Beyond the core health benefits, the added bonus of receiving cash back on regular everyday purchases is an excellent, tangible feature that boosts its value throughout the year.
What truly makes this benefit stand out is the value it offers for family coverage. I pay only a minimal extra difference to include my spouse, and they receive the exact same comprehensive benefits as I do. It’s fantastic knowing that for such a small added cost, they are covered just as well.
Overall, the MyMedicash app simplifies the process of submitting claims and managing my account on the go. It is extremely convenient, easy to use, and offers great value, especially when covering family members. I highly recommend this plan to anyone who has the option. A definite 5 out of 5 stars!

Don't bother unless your corporate - they discriminate against you if you are a private customer!
Used the service for years before I was made redundant. Set up a private policy and they refuse to pay out on any of the things that I had previously got paid out for, saying the receipts were all of a sudden 'not acceptable' even though those receipts were fine under a corporate policy and are still fine for my friends that are still on the corporate policy?????
The only thing they seem to pay out for is an NHS dentist check up £40 which isn't worth the money you pay them.

I have submitted my vision express copy of the original receipt which clearly stating that I had eye test and after that I was prescribed for the glasses.
They declined my claim stating there's no treatment dates given.
It's like purposefully declined to avoid paying

I received Medicash through my employer and was keen to extend my policy however have been told that I wouldn’t be accepted as my claims exceed my premiums. What is the point of allowing you to claim a certain amount for treatments if that is to your detriment. Absolutely disgusted. I have had an accident whilst being with Medicash so will now no longer be able to claim for anything to do with that accident with a new company. I’ve been with Medicash since 2018 and feel totally abandoned at a time where I feel quite vulnerable.

I believe Medicash should urgently look at the amounts they require from companies for LV1 and enter negotiations into these. The reason being inflation has increased dramatically in some areas, dental particularly and Medicash has not increased in line with this.
Another suggestion, a maternity/Paternity top up or something related i.e claim on child goods
Besides this I have nothing but fantastic experiences with Medicash on the whole!

Was covered with previous employer.
Tried to setup a personal plan. Filled out the application form. Week later got a letter stating Medicash have rejected my application.
No medical or health questions. Yet still got declined.
Reading other reviews, I surmise it's a result of actually claiming when with my previous employer.... Don't bother.
