We came into C W Sellors Jewellers to discuss bespoke made engagement rings for my fiancé and I. While we didn't end up taking this option further, they were extremely helpful in getting the ball rolling for us, and helping us to understand what we wanted and how the process works. We are both extremely grateful for their great services.
What started as a normal Sunday in Bakewell turned into a brilliant shopping experience at CW Sellors. After seeing a watch in the window that my girlfriend liked, we decided to step inside. We were immediately put at ease by Peter and his colleague, who were friendly, professional, and completely pressure-free. We ended up purchasing the watch we wanted and couldn't be happier. We'll certainly be popping in again next time we're in town!
Very disappointed with this retailer and would never purchase from them again. If purchasing direct from the shop where you see the item might be best but as many of the other negative reviews have stated, the problem being is when you want to return an item to them. I rarely ever got a reply to my emails when asking for more photos of items I was interested in and as an online customer, too far from the area, I only had their stock photos to go by. I returned an item I purchased from them, via next day special delivery, as they requested. I was then contacted to say that my refund had been put into an account credit with them, and they would await my instructions. I emailed back to ask for a refund as I now had concerns with this retailer. No reply ever received, so I had to telephone them to ask for a refund. I was told this would be a further 14 days, which it was, exactly that. This delay meant I was unable to purchase from elsewhere until I received this refund. If buying online from them, I would avoid.
The welcome at C W Sellors is amazing, always a warm and friendly smile. Everyone you meet looks after you, if you are just browsing that’s fine too as we found there was no pressure sales from anyone. If you are looking to make a purchase, whether you are celebrating a special event or you just want to treat yourself to something stunning and unique it is always a great experience visiting the friendly staff at Bakewell. Peter looked after us on both our recent visits. It was a pleasure dealing with him, his product knowledge and friendly manner puts you totally at ease and time was never an issue. There were so many beautiful bracelets to try and Peter gave us the time with no pressure to make our decision. A big thank you to Peter for all his help and for the 5 star experience.
Wow - What can we say! The best jewllers out there!! We visited many times to see Peter in the Bakewell store for our wedding jewellery including our rings and jewellery for bridesmaids and mother of the bride. Peter could not do enough for us, and sorted my Mum’s jewellery almost instantly after showing him her outfit. We have also had ring alterations and cleaning which have been perfect. Peter at the Bakewell store is wonderful and he is our jeweller for life! The whole team at the Bakewell are friendly and helpful- please do not hesitate to visit, you won’t be disappointed! Avoid CW Sellors at all costs! A shocking business with an appalling lack of customer service. I have never left a complaint about any business, until now. I bought an expensive necklace online as a present for my partner and was disappointed at the poor quality when it arrived. I returned the necklace in person to the Bakewell store on the 21st January and had an email confirming it was received by head office on the 24th January. I then heard nothing so I politely messaged CW Sellors via WhatsApp, who claimed they would “chase” this for me. I then heard nothing again, so I politely messaged asking for a time frame for the refund. This was on the 23rd February, WhatsApp shows they have read my message and ignored it. I am extremely appalled by the lack of customer service and the fact that nearly 2 months on from returning the necklace in person, I still have not received a refund or even a time frame. I had planned to spend a few thousand on a blue John diamond engagement ring from this company, however after this horrendous experience I shall not be purchasing from CW Sellors again. To anyone considering purchasing from CW Sellors, I would not recommend them unless you want to be ignored, have your money taken and your time wasted. There are plenty of other fantastic jewellers in Bakewell and surrounding areas such as Castleton which deliver far better quality and customer service. If CW Sellors does not provide a refund within the next week, I will have to take this to Trading Standards. It’s completely unacceptable as a business to behave in this manner and ignore customers when they ask for help. I would much rather purchase from other jewellers who care about their customers.
My partner and I visited the Bakewell store between Christmas and New Year. Whilst there we met the lovely Peter! Peter’s customer service was second to none, he was an absolute delight. Peter provided such a high standard of service, that is seldom found these days. The store is warm and welcoming with a fantastic range of jewellery. We were particularly impressed at the extra time and effort Peter took to make our experience a positive one. Peter is such an asset to CW Sellors, and a rare gem in todays climate of ‘don’t care attitude’ often found when shopping on the high street. Thank you, Rachel and Terri.

I have just enjoyed another visit to the C W Sellors boutique at Bakewell. As always the staff were courteous, helpful and welcoming. Especially Peter, who patiently showed me a selection of watches before I finally made my decision to buy a gorgeous Fears Brunswick. Highly recommended in all regards.
Very nice location in a small village, building is made of local stone very good curb appeal, parking is a little awkward as small carparks for such a busy village, boutique style shop offering various watch and jewellery,sales staff are very friendly,only slightly niggle was I purchased a watch and when I got it home I noticed the date and time not set to correct time and date,nice to see dogs allowed in the shop
